It wasn't my Mum saying that, I was just quoting cycling. Although mine can be very tactless, but maybe not quite that bad!

One of the things I need is not at the local IK£A so looking at where the other stores are.

I realised that it is impossible to fly at 2 in the morning without making a racket when it is the kitchen so I put the dishes away, watched some really boring tv and then decided that bed was probably the best thing for me. All the windows are wide open to try and get rid of the germs.

Even though I have the day off I unfortunately have to go in for a bit so the plan is to fly a bit, have a shower, go to work and then do more if I am able after lunch

    Anyone fancy a HHC 9-9.30?

I have a colleague coming over to do maths and literacy planning this morning, so need to clean up everywhere - not just the kitchen and dining room. Looks like I'll be getting a head-start on the bathroom.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Morning ladies!

It's a lovely sunny day here on the South Coast, feel very fortunate! :D

Not on this part of the south coast it's not! Grey and drizzle at the moment but I'm taking a chance and putting the washing on the line before I go to work.

    Morning!

First time on here this week, so at some point i need to read 29 pages  Lots of ((hugs)) to anyone who needs/wants.

My house looks like a dump, I've done absolutely nothing to the house this week. Honestly, I blame the kids... half term and all that ;)

Monday was spent trawling the shops for kids halloween costumes and yesterday I spent the whole day with my lovely mum on her 60th bday. I do feel quite proud of myself as I am very 'un-crafty' and never make anything. However I have made her a 'pamper hamper' using an oldish wicker basket (very mse!) and filled it with lots of bits n pieces like toiletries, some posh chocs, mini bottles of wine, some nik-naks and a 60 helium balloon. Wrapped the whole lot in sellophane, topped with a big bow and, voila!

Today will be a list catch-up day, starting with LR. I dont normally post my lists on here but I'm gonna try it to see if it motivates me more. So here goes:-
