Did that yesterday... need to do the livingroom, and also the main bedroom today. Nothing too dramatic needed in either so should be quite quick.

I went to I**a yesterday dusty - with DS2, DD and her friend. We had to be very careful what we bought, as I only drive a Micra! I bought storage boxes for the shelf unit in the living room, two tops for the wheeled baskets in the boys' wardrobe, an extra basket-drawer for our wardrobe, a replacement dinner plate, and also the matching large deep bowls (great for pasta). It's a mistake to try and do Primark as well in the same trip :D I'm shattered today.

Lovely sunshine here today. I'm off to the allotment in a mintue, then have to do some school work at some point. And some flying.

aj-great news about the promotion! Hope you feel better soon.
mudbath - glad to hear DS is mostly feeling better.
Hugs for toots, lady-liberty and all the other poorlies as well.

Morning everyone. I'm so sorry that I haven't been around for ages. Life seems to have taken over and as a result the house especially upstairs is a real mess. I tried 2 weeks ago to get going with the daily list but I think I tried too hard and thus gave up. I am only going to try for level one and if I achieve any from level 2 and 3 that will be a bonus.
Today however is going to be dominated by some pizza and cake cooking.
Tomorrow I am running a revision day for our yr 11 pupils who are taking their English GCSE in November and in a very mad moment I promised them pizza at lunch time. Then one asked me if I could also make them some cakes, and I agreed!!!!
The first lot of pizza dough is now in the bread maker so I have a little bit of time before I need to prepare the toppings. Think its time to clear and wipe all the surfaces so its easier to roll out the dough. Thought I'd make some small cup cakes and Twink's hobnobs as the cakes I've promised. Will just have to make sure I make a few extra for OH or he'll sulk.....
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

cycling yorkie your mum sounds like my MIL, who needs a smack. Has she ever heard of anorexia? I think you should cut our lots of articles about anorexia and bulimia and post them to her.

wilf how about throwing open the windows, lighting a candle or an oil burner and putting some lovely music on while you work?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
