I've been looking at your thread because I think the flylady website is a bit American. Do I still need to produce a Control Journal and to use in conjunction with your thread and follow the Flylady emails or do your messages stand alone?0

Welcome to the thread! Toots, our regular meeter-&-greeter is out of action at the moment (although she still appears to be checking up on us rather than resting). I'm sure she'll send you a PM when she's back. In the meantime, the rest of the team will be more than happy to answer questions and provide support.
You can just follow the lists on post 1 - there is no need to add anything to this unless you find that it helps you. And we'll all tell you that you need to start with level one rather than aiming for the whole thing each day. Getting rid of the clutter (or finding appropriate storage for it) really seems to be the key to success.
If you decide to join us, post a Christmas tree by your name so that you're spotted and added to the list, and then dive in!0 -
Morning all, back from Copenhagen and had a wonderful time ....... it's a fantastic city and all the people are very friendly (and all speak English which was a godsend lol).
Anyway, I have my parents, sis, neice, brother and his girlfriend coming to stay this weekend for Halloween/Bonfire/DS birthday so we've got a full house so it'll need to be tidy beforehand so I'm going to try and catch up with yesterday and today - wish me luck!
I'll pop back in a bit and post my lists ...... hope everyone is ok ! xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

And now for something I thought you would all like:DCleaning PoemI asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'He told me to get off my butt,
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my good work.I didn't mean to 'click.'But click, I did, and oops - I found
A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into it -
I was into it all night.
So nothing's changed except my mouse.
It's as shiny as the sun.
I guess my house will stay a mess....
While I sit here on my bum.:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
