Morning lovelies!
It's a dreary day here, netball is inside for the first time thankfully! I'll be going in half an hour and out til half 7, looong day.
I need to do laundry when I get back, and tidy the bedroom up a bit.
Have a good day everyone
Lots of hugs to everyone

Had a long talk with manager at work who was very understanding and we spoke about putting a plan together about returning to work and I feel better about this as a result
Really need to make a start - think I will start with the bedroom and I have a couple of other things I want to sort out in there
Piggers - it sounds awful at uni for you - is there anyone who can help like the NUS? Could you enquire about hardship loans (I don't know if uni's still do these it's a long time since I was there!) Hope you get some support to sort this out. I would feel the same as you if it was me.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Pigpen - going to Uni is a big change for you, so its not surprising that its tough, particularly with everything else going on. The lack of organisation is something you're going to have to work with - remember, the place is full of students, most of whom can't even manage to get themselves out of bed in the morning!
Who is your main contact at uni? Is there a tutor who you see for general stuff, not subject-specific things? Or do you have a buddy or mentor? They should be able to help you understand the way that things work, why they work that way and what can and can't be changed. If they are aware of your mobility problems, you should politely remind them that you can't walk long distances - if they aren't, ask them how you formally make them aware, and what they can do to accommodate them.
As for the income issues - obviously those need to be sorted out with the relevant bureaucrats, but the university will probably have a hardship fund that can provide you with a loan to tide you over, or may be able to point you in the way of organisations who provide support to students.
Don't give up yet - remember, you're ill, you've been through a lot of changes over the past few months, of which uni is the latest (I'm sure you know about the change cycle - which stage do you reckon you're in now?!), and it's October and getting dark & damp (although strangely not as cold as it should be!). Wait until things settle down before making a decision.0 -
Right I'm starting a HHC at 10.30am to tackle the bedroom (more likely an whole hour challenge!)

I'm so tired! Exhausted! Phase two: behind tv and under armchair 2 will have to be done on Thurs
