I've still been plodding away.
I have hoovered the stairs, hallway, middle room and half the dining room,
have pulled one of the sideboards out and cleaned the kak out hoovered and put it back, same with the storage chest/seat in there, and all while cooking risotto for tea (luckily my recipe you dont have to stir it all the time so its in the Remoska)
Need to check on it now and add the peas.
back later (providing I dont attack the bottle I just put in the fridge to have with my tea)Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Oooh, there was nearly a caninicide (if there is such a word!) in this house just now but BB was reprieved by the fact I've been a lazy mare and hadn't emptied a particular waste paper basket for several days.
I needed to do my company annual return online today or face a £100 penalty. I had left the piece of paper with the login details lying around at a low level and the dog stole it and tore part of it. I didn't realise the torn part had an important code on it so I had put it in the bin and it would have taken 5 days for a repeat to be POSTED out to me
Fortunately though, by delving in the unemptied bin, I managed to find a tiny scrap of paper with the last two digits of the code on it! Phew - the dog lives to see another dawn....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thanks for the advice I did mean put the colour on after rinsing the stuff off and as it was found a crawley when combing it through.....oh the joy!!!
Don't think they're from school as we were only there Thursday and Friday and these were crawling and I think that means at least 7 days!!!
Anyway....dishes all washed DD in bed watching DVD and now I can eat......0 -

What a rubbish one, Fellows too which are supposed to be ok
Can anyone recommend a good reliable shredder that doesn't pack in after 2 mins and overheat and can manage about 5 sheets at a time and cross cut and cut CC too?
ETA: it is always Fellowes ones we get at work, and they seem ok there, maybe cos they are industrial?:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0
