Hellllloooooo everyone, just popping in from Vegas.:D

All well here, I've cleaned our room up a few times, does that count as flying even though there are maids here!!

Weather lovely, off on a trip to Death Valley today. I have been hugely unsuccessful at winning anything on the slot machines :rotfl: so I think I'll not bother for a while.

Managing to walk ok but we have a car so that makes everything easier. Even though there are many amazing sights here I have to say my best moment has been me mooching around Wal-Mart, sad or what.....but I love Wal-Mart.:D

Here for another week so will catch up with you all when I get back, hope everyone is well and huge huggles to those who need them. xxxxx

or doesnt look like it anyhow!

It may not look like it, but give us a list of what you've done and I'm sure we'll disagree with you about progress...

You do know that if you don't do it we'll be sending froddy round to stand over you while you make the call, don't you? ;) And if you don't behave, we'll send soappie over  (she's got herself a reputation on the forums nowadays as well as at work :p)

Thanks for offering my services ;) Can't do tomorrow but, if you don't phone tomorrow sexymouse, the threat could be there for Weds!

I usually colour my hair when dry, so unless you're using something different, I'd wait!

Really? I have to wet my hair through and towel dry so it's damp but not dripping before I dye it.

Poohbear, I wouldn't dye it today though! As pigpen said, the chemicals may react!

I'm really pleased you had a good time. We're due to set off in just under an hour - I'm taking DS1 and friend in the car, but will just drop them off. Part of me thinks I'll be missing out, but I'm so tired from the weekend. We didn't get back until 11pm last night and I've kept going so far, but am starting to feel it now. Hope you start to feel better soon.

Thank you! Green Day played for 2 and a half hours on Friday so they are in for a good evening - Billie Joe was as mad and hyper as always!

Well I say I colour my hair dry... I mean the hairdresser does :D... which when I've forgotten to take the leave-in conditioner out means that she has to wash & dry it before colouring, washing, cutting & drying again!

... I'm hoping the threat of you arriving on sexymouse's doorstep will be enough to galvanise her into action... but don't tell her that ;)

I promise I'll do it tomorrow - I wanted one day without having to think about school, so threw myself into baking, as it's something I enjoy.

Sounds a great idea - a positive fun day will do you good.

But all the pushes your way made me do one of my "I'm not looking forward to" calls, and it wasn't so bad after all. Have another couple which'll I will make tomorrow.

Last HHC has ironed and rehung my bedroom curtains so I can go to sleep now without frightening the natives here. :D

wanders off to list - next HHC needs to be a sitting one I think & a cuppa!

I've overheated the shredder for the second time...and the lounge looks like a bombsite! DH will have a shock when he gets home.
Mine did too when he got home, all his stuff is bagged up. Mwahahahaaaa (evil laugh)

Worried about Lady Liberty, not seeen her on here today. Will go on FB to see if she is there, otherwise might have to recruit Sexymouse to see if she is ok?

My shredder packed in too last week, couldn't even shred one piece of paper.

What a rubbish one, Fellows too which are supposed to be ok

Can anyone recommend a good reliable shredder that doesn't pack in after 2 mins and overheat and can manage about 5 sheets at a time and cross cut and cut CC too?

    :p:p back

Valli - if you're Poirot, I'm Miss Marple! Today when I was waiting for the bus I saw some minibuses parked up where they don't normally and wondered if some sort of park and ride was going on where it shouldn't really be. When I was waiting for the bus to come home again, I saw one of those same minibuses (this is the other side of town!). I actually wrote down its reg number and, sure enough, when I got back home, there was the same minibus! Obviously some sort of park and ride for the university. A little further investigation shows its only for a couple of days so I won't make a fuss....

Mudders - can't help with the dog training I'm afraid, but I wish you luck!

    Welcome Mariek, saban and knitty78

Hugs and hurrahs for those who need them. I'm off to do the stars now, it looks like Toots hasn't been able to get on...
