Banana bread made, cooled, sliced and put in the freezer. Nipped into town to have a look in a couple of shops and take back my library books. Have also bought some more ingredients to help use up these bananas - going to make banana and date flapjack style biscuits next. Will still have loads of ripe bananas, so may have to find some more recipes to use them up in. Our neighbour works for a factory that waste loads of bananas every week because once the bananas are yellow, they can't be sold to the supermarkets as they will be too ripe, so I have a box of bananas in the garage now that are all ripe! May have to freecycle some at this rate. Think I'll still have about 12 left once I've made the biscuits!

Living room is a little less cluttered now the library books have gone back, but haven't really been able to get on with much as have had the builder here finishing off the garage roof. LBF is still hiding under the bed! lol

HHC 4.30-5pm anyone? I need to do some crossing off of my list.

    Afternoon

Done the ortho and fair size food shop, kids happy as they got to choose some of the stuff, I don't mind they are quite sensible and if I say no to something they say fine.

Fedup - hugs. It is along road you have started on hun and I'm afraid you need to stick to it and not keep going up side roads back to the start. The pain will ease, we can't function indefinitely like that and our body knows it. For now be kind to yourself x

Kaz - hugs sweetie. I had a massive fall out with DS1 last week, we both got hurt but we're moving on and he has been so much better since and I'm sure your DD will be too, hang in there x

Mudders - I know nought about woofs so can offer no advise but have you tried the pet board on here?

Cats body clocks have not reset with the house clocks.

Off to get the washing in and 15 minutes of starting to move some of the gardening stuff into the newly emptied drawers.

I've tidied up the gap between the two armchairs and have moved armchair 2 into the gap so I can tidy underneath it at a later date.

I'm so tired! Exhausted! Phase two: behind tv and under armchair 2 will have to be done on Thurs

LR really needs hoovering but the hoover has been playing up lately and i just can't face it. That will be part of phase 2.

All thats left to be done today is to take out the paper to the recycling, and the rubbish. And wash up and do dinner

Way to go Rose - you're doing really well but dont overdo it. As for behind the TV DO NOT do what I did and unplug all the cables to wipe them clean. We have TV which is fine, We have sky but no sound on it and as for the video and DVD players I darent even try them!
I've done practically nothing today except wash up, parcel up some ebay sales and go back to see the Dr who has signed me off for 2 weeks to recover from the stress I am going through as I burst into tears again when I was in there. Might not need to be off for all of that time, will see how I am at the weekend. Hope work is ok with this and will ring them tomorrow.

Seeing the ex yesterday and talking about 'things' when I took up his birthday present really upset me again. Trying to stay friends but I am finding it very difficult indeed.

Feel so low today that I can bearly be bothered to move. Need to drag myself up off the settee and do something.

Right will tidy out the blanket box again starting at 3pm and see what else I do
Hugs fedup - I too think you need to distance yourself for a while, unfortunately while you try to be friends there will always be a flicker of reconciliation. Hopefully once you are really over it then you can become friends, they do say often ex's can become the best friends.

Welcome Marie - hope you enjoy our version, and lookup ladies we have a REAL flylady in the midst, she's got the manual and everything  :rotfl:

Ok I am decluttering a cuppa at the mo but have flung a load of stuff from the utility room  (why when I need to ensure the rest of the house is clear?), Relocated the old dining chairs to their rightful place in the garage where the old table is lurking (remnants of one of DH's ex's ) but they are gone from our house now :D.

Now need to hoover through and move the sideboards out in the dining room and muck out behind/underneath.

Does anyone have Green kitchen stuff (I know it was fashionable a few years ago) as I have a lovely set of traditional scales with brass weights and pans that I only ever used about twice if anyone would like them. I dont have the room for them now and it seems such a shame to have them packed away in the attic.

Teas gone so now need to go and do some more and decide what is for tea - the fridge is full but have no idea what to do

Woooah - this thread is moving fast., no wonder I cant keep up when I'm at work
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
