No flying done yet... but I have done an hour and a half on the allotment, and taken DD for an hour's drive as the insurance is now valid for both DD and DS. I'm taking him in a few minutes.

Then. I'll make a start on a list of sorts!

:hello:Hi to all the newbies and my flylady friends!

AnW's mum - thank you for that backronym link. That is just the sort of useless trivia that I love to know.:D

  • Why is it that the day I start a HUGE paperwork clearance there is not a 15 minute filing/shredding in sight on the list!!!!

I seem to have lost a file that I need with all our life insurance stuff in. It must be somewhere...its a whole lever arch file! But it does mean that I've started the mass paperwork declutter. I've even managed to overheat the shredder so its temporarily (or so I hope) not working until its cooled down.

DD1 is on a TV ban for being a monkey yesterday so she's currently trashing the kitchen with her magic sand. Thank goodness I've not got round to sweeping in there yet today. I'll just get it done in one go later on. DD2 is fast asleep in bed so I'll get some more paperwork sorted. Hopefully the shredder has cooled down now.

Here's what's left to do today.

Monday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
Declutter the floors....its looking worse than it did 2 hours ago thanks to all the paperwork I'm sorting.
    Vacuum said decluttered floors!
    Wipe the sofas if needed
    Extras
    1. HHI
Hugs Kaz...hopefully you've sorted it out with her. Unfortunately I can see SIL going through the same thing as you. She's having some major rows with her DD who is 12.

    Welcome mariek.

Off I go back to the paperwork....if I don't surface in an hour send out the search party.

I have sorted the drawer out, everything has been shredded and I have emptied the shredder. There is a small pile of stuff to check what OH wants to do with but apart from that the LR looks great, although it could do with another quick hoover.

A question on decluttering, do you put away everything that isn't used? The drawer I have just cleared I often use it to store stuff out of sight, but apart from that I don't really use it but it is full. I seem to be really good at organising anything that is on show but not so good at the hidden stuff.
