Feeling very down in the dumps this afternoon and had a little weep to let it all out.

Think I'd better get up and do something and stop feeling sorry for myself
Must remember I feel better when I do something - so get something done and delay the first glass of wine for an hour or so

    ((((hugs))))

I shall join you:j cos I want to get this weeks lists finished:A

Not in DHs good books. I have somehow not brought the cross bar bit for the shelf unit home from Ik&A  I paid for it, it is on the receipt but it must have got left on the trolly, DS3 was starting to do my head in at that point.

There is no option other than to go back and get another (only £2) but the thought of driving down there again is not a happy one.

oops dusty! The perils of shopping with kids...

I've sorted through all my receipts, dumped those from before September (why isn't there a consistent standard for producing receipts? Finding the dates is a nightmare) and those for Sept/August have been paperclipped together.

Second half of desk has now been cleared and cleaned. I now just have hotspots on the filing cabinet and ironing board  so I won't be able to do any ironing

I've also got clothes all over my bed, so I'm going to have to sort those if I want to go to sleep tonight!

Off to check on the last load of laundry and work out what I'm going to eat for the next few days...

I've just checked one of the receipts from yesterday and have realised that they didn't charge me for one dress... do I confess (and potentially get the shop assistant into trouble as well as having to cough up, as presumably they won't actually know when the stock went awol unless I let them know) or do I just feel grateful

    It's up to you really...
when I got DDs dvds twice I DID return one set, all labelled and explained (they had sent two and I had e mailed and everything) and then they refunded the money (and I got tracking with Quidco) at that point I gave up as I was clearly dealing with idiots! So i ended up with a freebie - but I had tried to 'do the right thing'.
