What fab news! Glad you had such a good time, let us know what happens!

Lots of emails are going back and forth about work and workload and how to make team meetings more productive. I'm a bit nervous about voicing my opinion as I'm new and my boss already thinks I'm a trouble maker with all the Occ Health stuff, but surely this makes sense:

If team meetings aren't productive, we need a proper agenda, agreed & circulated in advance, with timed items. Things that need more time should have people allocated to resolve them and be taken off-line into diffferent forums. Minutes & actions should be issued after each meeting and people required to provide progress updates each week. Agenda items should be submitted 2 days before. And if metrics are causing problems with workload, then I'll take a wild guess that we're measuring the wrong things... (or doing the wrong things :p)... I suspect that this might put a few backs up though...
Seems reasonable to me, and IMHO, you are being employed by them and so they should value your opinion!

Toots you also take care and get loads of rest, don't worry about the stars, I know it gives you some thing to do, blah blah, BUT your rest is far more important, you do worry me that you are not resting and doing far to much stressing over the stars which cannot be good for you, we love you and want you to get strong again xxxxx
    I agree, well said

Toots, lovely to see you are back! Hope you are able to have a restful few days so you can recover, it sounds really tiring!

Lady Liberty, lovely to see you posting. Really glad you were able to see your son. I know what you mean about it being dark, it’s really gloomy here too! I’ve had my lightbox on all morning to keep me sane. How have you been? Did you have a nice week with hubby?

Hi Diva and Jinky and Summermoon, how are you all? Hugs

Mumto5, keep posting and we will all give you kicks and encouragement!

Sexymouse, I love to have my head stroked too! It’s so lovely and really really calming

I'm back! Have had a nice afternoon, and when I got home I ordered a new diary for 2010 as I suddenly realised I don't have one yet, so I've had a fun time browsing Paperchase's selection! I love their stuff.

DH is out playing squash so I'm able to catch up on here!

I think I'm winning against the study! If only I could keep on top of things... instead of putting it off until I need to have a blitz . It's my least favourite room to do, but that's probably because I hate doing paperwork.

House insurance still isn't done. I guess I'll have to renew with my existing provider seeing as I only have 4 days to sort it out in

Back off downstairs to have a look at the laundry :D

Yes, they do, but NOT YOU! You need to look after yourself so that you can get better quicker

Just spent 20 mins with DD on the phone crying...why is she so far away when she needs a hug (NI)

got lost to do but no impetus now :(
Aww, sounds like you need a hug too, hugs to you both

I need to go and hang out the washing. Still need to wash up, and do some general floor clearance. The floor so desperately needs hoovering but ours is kaput. Might ask the inlaws if I can borrow theirs for the day one day this week!

Chicken is cooked, just need OH now to come and eat, he is at work but on his way, WHEN he gets here I will steam the other veg for 5 mins or so and make the gravey.

Just spent too much money on ebay, seems I am going into the cosmetics business, plus there is a good deal for glass decorative stone, and pot pourri but not sure they are the 'in' thing at the moment, so holding off on those for now.

    Bond is on now.

Hi all - sorry ive been awol again this week and not keeping up with the thread, but I have been flying! All rooms are done and just about gutted.

The guys is coming to clean all the carpets on tuesday so i need to have the rooms gutted and everything off the floor so they can move the furniture and thats it. In a house that has absolutely no storage this is a problem as Ive no where to put everything, but then its a good excuse to get rid of all the carp! :D

Anyway off to update my list, hope everyone is well xx
