Have tried to go to the West End more when I am away on business trips in London. Two weeks ago went to see Oliver - very good, Griff Rhys Jones was on holiday so his understudy Tim Laurenti was Fagin and did a very good job. Kerry Ellis played Nancy and was excellent.
I saw Kerry Ellis as Elphaba in Wicked and this was excellent. I'd like to see it again with Lee Mead and Rachel Tucker in it.

Others that I thought were very good are: Joseph, Avenue Q, Chicago

Ones that I thought were good: Blood brothers, Sound of Music, Cabaret

Ones that I would still like to see: Phantom of the Opera (can't believe I've never seen this!), We will rock you, Mamma Mia and a return trip to Les Miserables (must have been about twenty years ago I last saw this)

Haven't yet seen a bad show!

You know, I never realised the current 39 steps was a comedy! Only just looking at half price tickets for shows in July and saw that.

Id love to see Carmen but its only on in May.

Saw Legally Blonde last night, was really good. Would definatly reccomend for a feel good musical. also recently saw Hair and was not too impressed.

Saw the David Essex musical "All the fun of the fair" at the weekend. Would only recommend for die-hard David Essex fans as I found it cheesy in the extreme with all his hits shoe-horned in by means of a shaky plot.

It's also really short - under 2 hours including a 20-minute interval so the actual show isn't much over an hour and half.

I won the tickets in a competition or would have been cross at paying West End prices for something so short.

Oh dear, I've just paid £58 to see David Essex next month (against my better judgement). Friends wanted to go. I'm sure it will be a good day out - at least we managed to get cheap train tickets!

    My favourite shows have been:

    We will Rock You
    Mama Mia
    39 Steps
    Chicago
    Blood Brothers
    The Lion King

We went to see We Will Rock You on Monday and were thrilled to see that Brian May and Roger Taylor were on stage during the encore.
    Fabulous musical 10/10!

Went to see War Horse yesterday - absolutely fantastic - easily the best thing I've ever seen.

    Have seen
The 39 Steps (had no idea what to expect and genuinely loved it)
Avenue Q - Had been wanting to see it for ages but made the mistake of taking oh's parents(who are theatre lovers) so sat there cringing trying not to giggle too loud (may have to revisit that one )
and going to see The Lion King this week :D cant wait :D
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
