It will soon be November the 5th, ideal way to remove petrol from a Rover.:D

Do you think Guy Fawkes would have been a national hero if he'd torched a Rover 45 instead?

Scrappage are giving you 2 grand for a car worth 2/3rds of f... all against a new car and you want to mess about over £13-50 worth of fuel.

How much will your new car be worth in 12 months time.

Do us a favour, when you run out of petrol on the way to the exchange, please post back telling us how the police turned out recovery for you at a cost of £150.:rotfl:

It is going to be towed to exchange it.

Nope, I care more for my mower than a few litres of dirty fuel.

But how much dirt would there be in a car only 8 years old!

Not enough to qualify for the scrappage scheme.

So the car now is only worth £75 instead of £2000.

Just phone a breaker and have them collect it save the trailer effort.

During the petrol rationing during the war over the Suez Canal the local Yobbos used to have a piece of steel tube with one end cut at a slant so that it was sharp and a length of tubing on the other.

They would drop down on one knee, shove the sharpened end into someones petrol tank, drain it and be away in less that two minutes.

You not only lost your petrol but had to get a new petrol tank as well
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
  • aardvaak has issues, me thinks.
