No I was'nt going to do that just use it in the mower

...and clog your mower up..
  • If you want to remove all the remaining fuel soak a rag in petrol then place it the filler neck and set light to it.

It's the best thing to do with a Rover.

You must be very rich thinking about leaving the fuel for someone else to have!

I would possibly agree if it was'nt for the scrappage!

    Don't suck, it tastes terrible.
Jack the car up and look for the fuel pipe, obviously running the length of the car from the tank to the engine. Wherever there is a join and a flexi pipe undo it and have a bowl to catch it in. Or in the bottom of the tank there should be a drain plug.
While you're laying there waiting for it to drain, it's very important .....

Nope, I care more for my mower than a few litres of dirty fuel.

It will soon be November the 5th, ideal way to remove petrol from a Rover.:D
  • I wonder scrappage plus £13-50.

What new cars lists for £2013-50?

Or maybe the OP has sold some part worn wall plugs on ebay to cover the difference.
