Lynz, I am so sorry to hear about the job. Arent there any other jobs you can apply for? You obviously need to get back to work for your sanity, peace of mind etc. I dont know anything about this but arent you entitled to some kind of unemployment benefit by now? Anyway, what can I say but good luck. Hope something comes your way soon. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

i would have been entitled to incapacity, but of course, Im not unfit for work now as my drs will sign me back.
Im not unemployed as im on the redepolyment register, so I cant get JSA
theres no jobs at all for the council I can apply for they are all things that either a) the dr says im not fit to do ie speak to anyone which is pure rubbish b) are out and about, which Im not able to do c)are skilled elsewhere ie teacher.
Feel a bit stuffed tbh:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

But you're not capable of all work - at least according to some doctor or other. Is there not assistance in that case?
What about the DLA for the time you were off?lynzpower wrote:theres no jobs at all for the council I can apply for they are all things that either a) the dr says im not fit to do ie speak to anyone which is pure rubbish
Can you contest that? Medical advice often depends on who you talk to - just listen to court cases.
What about the volunteering you were thinking of doing? It's unpaid, but will help how you feel.lynzpower wrote:Feel a bit stuffed tbh

I think you should keep trying. After all, what else can you do. Maybe someone will give you a chance. Do you not fancy going into teaching then? The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

exactly, you can only get incapacity if you are not able to work AT ALL
What about the DLA for the time you were off? ( refused this as well you know and didnt appeal as I am not unwell. )

What about the volunteering you were thinking of doing? It's unpaid, but will help how you feel. (wont i get sacked for doing this?, otherwise I may as well get a job locally, ie my local cab office wants controllers, I could do that??

Could you not have a chat with your employers at the Council and tell them what your financial situation is and the position it leaves you in with regard to employment. Could you not ask them if they could offer you anything at all with a view of their ideas of what you are capable of?The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
