    OK
thought id update this, as Ive been so busy over on the property board, I havent had time to be here much !

OK, well we have had 6 viewers for the flat since it went up on thursday last week.

We accepted an offer slightly under asking today, and we also got a offer for full asking price later on today!

The buyer wants us to excchage in 2 weeks  So all going really fast.

job wise, not a lot happeneing. Ive emailed a couple of agencies and heard nothing much back yet. but hitting the streets big time with this as of tomorrow, all being well

Off now to hospital, for some pretty scary tests. Hopefully Ill be OK, but one way or the other we will know if my illness is the big C or not.

Keep em all crossed for me, wont ya ;)

Wow, lots going on Lynz! That's great news about the flat so soon although 2 weeks sounds extremely fast!!!

Good luck with the job hunting and the tests, I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I really hope that they show up nothing too serious and/or that you might be nearer to knowing what the cause of your illness is.

    :)

Well I thought Id updae this, really just for my own benefit ( as no one else seems to be bothered ;) )

Not good news from the hospital im afraid, Ill be operated on in 6 months when things have worsened  but there you go.

Finances wise things are tight. Its all a mystery working out what I should do. Part of me knows I need to cut my losses and find work elsewhere so im applying like mad, but nothings coming about. Been rejected from a few agencies and its all a bit pants really but I have to persevere.

Im taking some legal advice today as to what I can do legally and the next steps- if I found a temp job tomorrow would I have to serve out a months notice? My mate told me that shes just resigned from a job due to her disability and that she has been given a lump sum of holiday money- nearly a grand! I wonder if I would? So loads of questions for acas & legal today will sort all that out then .

otherwise Im just applying and trying to find something to make me some money

Im not hanging round DFW much at the mo, god the atmostphere round here is REALLY aggro :( People shouting & Calling each other names? Its really depressing- maybe Im just being oversenstive, its really grim. anyway I hope you guys all play nicely ;)

    Hi Lynz,
Where was all the aggro? I guess I signed on at the wrong time last night as I didn't notice anything particularly bad:confused: ?
Sorry to hear that your tests were bad. But there must be some relief in knowing what the cause is. One less stress to worry about.

I was gobsmacked when you said about being able to find another job, whilst you were off sick. I ALWAYS thought that if you were signed off, you were signed off from ALL work! Wow what a revelation if true!

Good news about the flat. All the manic cleaning that I remember you talking about obviously paid off!!

I have had a good week, found some money in the street, so my sig changed, and managed to post my last charity box to Tanzania with my £2 pot money, so OH couldn't grumble about it:D .

I hope that all your problems get sorted out soon, best of luck

I agree with you Lynz. I've been put right off posting on here for a while now. The bickering in other areas doesn't normally filter through to DFW but recently I've seen it happening more and more often. I just can't be bothered with it all and have decided instead to continue to focus on my own efforts. It's a shame but there we have it.

Hope the legal advice is helpful and that you're feeling ok in yourself.
