I dont feel as hot there for some reason, I practically run up the mountains when Im hiking, and dance my legs down to the knees when im there with no real problems ( apart from some silly sunburn) I just dont know what it is about london, its so airless I think.
Plus this flat is west facing so it gets the sun literally all day long. Great selling point with the garden and all that, but a killer for me
small islands, near coastlines, lots of breeze coming off the sea. with help from the north easterly trade winds!

hhhm trinidad or brockley, trinidad or brockley
I know which one Id choose to live inbut then I havent been to trinidad - YET
so maybe its not REALLY as nice as brockley lol
Roll on november when our savings will be taking us somewhere sunny- if Im well enough by thenWe have a budget of 1000 ( 2 months of lodgers income) which we are earmarking for that reason, I think its fair recompense for the sacrifices we make for having a lodger
she says trying to justify it to the DFW wagon clingers

trinidad is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous
but the work that i do must take me to bigger countries. brockley's not that bad though, nice and green. i've got a big garden with lots of trees, so it's nice.
where are you hoping to go in november (praying you're well). i think you're very deserving of a holiday and should go somewhere reeeeeeeealy nice!! (i think egypt!)MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

I hope, Belize again. I was there pre LB moment ( whole hol on a CC )
But my heart is there, and I adore it. one I got there, I knew I wanted to live there forever, so if OH agrees ( which I hope he will) then that will be where we aim for later in life.
Failing that, egypt sounds cool too, or he fancies sri lanka. I think we will be drawing strawsOr in fact, seeing whats cheapest

I feel a bit uuuuuuuuuuurgggggggggghhhhhhhh
I worked myself up, as I was meant to be getting my results back from the GP this morning. He didnt have them. So I was up last night till 3. Im too hot so not really eating anything and feel quite nauseous. IM knackered, had a kip felt better, but still feel urghhhhh
I just want to get some purpose back. Im too ill to work, but Im too bored to keep afloat and im tearful and frustrated.
And I went to buy some tickets for that Sundae thing in Clapham common and theyve sold out ( my card for no reason was declined over the weekend, been trying to sort it out with no luck) and I started crying and couldnt stop for well over an hour
And the chicken I pulled out of the freezer smelt wrong, so that had to be binned
I just feel my life is just pointless at the moment, Im achieving f*** all and look like Mrs Rubbish. I have no real chat for anyone as Im doing nothing and i just feel so void.
Sorry to moan, I know other people are worse off than me, but at the moment I just cant see the positives no matter how hard I stare at them.
*crying again now* Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

i've sent you an IM
no need to apologise, you're having an exceedingly bad day. i know how unmotivating it can be sometimes when we feel inactive and overwhelmed.
you are an inspiration to all here, but you're also allowed your days too.

Hi Lynz, sorry to hear youre feeling down today. I know its hard but just try to relax and enjoy the rest youre having. Get yourself some good books from Amazon and chill out in the garden under the umbrella with some iced drinks. Watch some old films on the telly. Go for a walk in the park. Have some nice sleepy afternoons lying on the sofa with a book. Dont worry about the rest of the world, be self indulgent. Get yourself some nice goodies to eat. The debt and everything else will still be there whether you get stressed or not. Also, your job will still be there when youre feeling better. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
