Hi Lynz, If it makes you feel a bit better I thought stuff it today as it is DDs birthday on Friday and I went a bit mad. Have ordered her two Emile Zola books from Amazon as she likes reading the classics and have ordered champagne and a birthday cake- all to be delivered to her uni address. Have also sent her some cash for her trip to Thailand. Have overspent but am worried about her going to Thailand for a month. Also we exchanged contracts today and are moving on the 3rd July. Just thought id let you know my little bit of news. Glad you are feeling more positive now.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Hi Lynz, hope you and new fan are very happy!!
If you feel hot try licking your finger and stroking your earlobe - sounds stupid but it works!!! Also roll your tongue & breath in through it - that works as well!!!!!
(These tips come to you courtesy of the Chris Evans show last week!!!!)A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

didnt get my fan in the end everywhere sold out! not to wsorry its cooler now, Ill get one!!
OH cool Tes, so all systems go!! Let us know how you go on. Id love to pick up tips on housemoving the DFW way, so dont you be letting the side down LOL. And careful not to eat too many takeaways while you are moving, I know that temptation. As my parents moved so much when I was growing up the only positive was the amount of fish chips & gravy ( being a northerner, its the LAW) I could put in my belly before I was forced to actually help
Feeling good today though, hope everyone else is OK.
Nothing much DFW going on today i lost my keys so had a no spend day!!
Couldnt leave the flat!!
Doing some ebaying in a bit- must get the turbo lister!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Hey Lynz
Just popped on to say Hi!! Hope your out of the doldrums now chuck......love dotty xxFocusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -
Hi Lynz, you sound a lot brighter. We are going to hire a van, so I suppose thats the start of moving the DFW way. Also planning microwave meals as opposed to fish and chips (will have no cooker as we have fitted one here). Cant list any more stuff on ebay because OH gave DD our digital camera and we cant find the lead for my camera phone. Sorry this is all about me. Hope you are feeling cooler. Grab a fan while you can because its going to get hot again at the weekend I believe, not as hot as before but enough to warrant a fan I think. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Hi Lynz,
My latest sig, I saw it on a poster, thought it was really good. I'm quite enjoying work at the moment as I am over at the 6th form invigilating AS & A Level exams. Its very quiet and peaceful over there. Nice old building and the kids more civilised. After the exams I've been assigned one of the worst classes in the school behaviourwise so you can imagine I'm not looking forward to that. Will be like hell for the last 4 or 5 weeks of term but OH says they must think a lot of me to expect me to help that class. Term ends on the 26th July and I think I will be feeling stresssed by then with a bad class and a house in a mess. My son will have to help with the lifting when we move because it doesnt take a lot to give me a bad back! During the summer holidays I thought I might either a) look for some temp office work to bring in some extra money or b) enjoy the time off and strip wallpaper and paint all the walls, take stuff to the tip, sell stuff on ebay, etc. Might not be able to bear being in the house though so will see how things go. We cant go on holiday although we would like to because it will put back our plans for work on the house. I've finished paying the school fees now and am beginning to see a slight improvement in our finances but so far this is going towards moving, although having said that I have paid £1600 off the debt this month. However, I know our debt is going to increase by about £4,000 because OH did not borrow enough to completely buy the house. This may not be a bad thing because that money will be paid off sooner but in the short term it is rather depressing. That is why I have frantically been trying to pay more money off this month. I think by the time we move we'll have about £19000 worth of debt, could be a bit more than that. Thanks for listening. Love Tes xxxThe forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
Just thought Id update this as I havent been really doinbg it for a few days.
Sadly I havent been that well, although I have had some positive news from my GP, and things are not as bad as we thought. Certainly not out of the woods yet, but the worst isnt hitting JUST yet, so I can smile
Ive transferred £85 from paypal which is hitting my 20% barclaycard as soon as it clears from paypal, which I am SO CHUFFED WITH  I only have about 150 left on this and its being paid so quickyl at the mo!!! YES!!!
Secondly, and this is another  moment for me, I am YET AGAIN within my overdraft foir the 3rd month running, this by the largest amount of almost £45. I did have some bank charges going out ( they seemed to have waited a few months before applying them - I have asked for them back though so no biggie) but if it wasnt for those I would have been 105 under my wages, and for that I am giveing myself a big one of these :T
I am back on board with the food shopping budget, Ive fell off the wagon a bit and we overspent by about 20 quid this month, so, this will be starting as of today ( which is payday) and I NEED to keep on top of this. Menu plan to come later for those who are interested
Just done a pincone research survey ( havent had one of those for a while) so Ill get a £4 luncheon voucher for that.
Also a few things closed on ebay last night, didnt make much, made about £15 but better with the bank than in the suitcase under my bed
Still slogging away with the bank charges, as you do
Anyway, all moneysaving here, hope everyone else is doing well ?:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
