In that program Victorian Farm she used 'bluing'. I don't know how much it costs but you can get it online.
I spray my bed sheets with diluted lemon juice and leave them out in the sun. They come up lovely. The only problem is getting a sunny day.-Slimming World Challenge

Hi I was wondering if you could help.
My ds has just got home from a karate camp where he had a wonderful time, but unfortunately his gi didn't. It is covered in grass stains, juice, mud etc.
They've been training in the sea on the sand and climbing dunes. I've got it soaking in ariel whitening and stain remover stuff that my neighbour gave me but it's not working.
Can anyone help, the gi is white with the club badge embroidered on in black, so bleach is out of the question.
Many thanks
Oh yeah I need it white by Tuesday for his next lesson.0 -

Hi, not sure if this is the right place for this but I want to know what's the best way to get and keep white clothing white.
I have a number of white baby grows which I used for my daughter but they are slightly discoloured around the neck. I would now like to use them for my baby son but no matter how many times I've washed them they still seem to be slightly discoloured. I have not tried anything though apart from fairy liquidtabs as I have been hesitant to try other things as he is only 5 weeks old.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you0 -
Some Napisan or one of those Oxy additives to the wash. Maybe a slightly higher temp if you've always washed them on a low one, depending on the fabric content.0

I often use nappy/sterilising fluid. Best way to keep whites lovely soft and white is to hang them out on a frosty day. Lovely!0

I forgot that I had a new box of napisan knocking around. I've used that in a wash and they have come up like new. Thanks guys!0
