  • Child Benefit for 2 children is £33.20 per week. Not what I would call hardly anything ! :)
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
  • You're only entitled to CTC and CB on a salary of £22,000, hth.

Millions of people work with 2 or more children.

I know a lady close by who has four kids and she works 30 hours a week.
(and with no husband for support either)
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Did you not realise CBJSA would stop? Nor baby element?

CTC for 2 kids over one on 22k wage is £66 pw, CB £33 pw

Your total net income should be approx £20kpa

£385 pw. Depending on the size of your mortgage maybe not a huge amount, but shouldn't be an uncomfortable standard of living if you budget correctly :A

You'd probably get a fair % if your wife worked PT... Have the free places for 2 year olds come in (Or was that shelved?!)? You can get free places for 3 & 4 year olds though
