Child Benefit for 2 children is £33.20 per week. Not what I would call hardly anything !

Millions of people work with 2 or more children.
I know a lady close by who has four kids and she works 30 hours a week.
(and with no husband for support either)make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
ahhh, thank you for all your replies, we've only been getting half of the ctc we should,

Did you not realise CBJSA would stop? Nor baby element?
CTC for 2 kids over one on 22k wage is £66 pw, CB £33 pw
Your total net income should be approx £20kpa
£385 pw. Depending on the size of your mortgage maybe not a huge amount, but shouldn't be an uncomfortable standard of living if you budget correctly :A
You'd probably get a fair % if your wife worked PT... Have the free places for 2 year olds come in (Or was that shelved?!)? You can get free places for 3 & 4 year olds thoughneither of our kids are at school and we'd get buggar all for childcare costs either
