I know some of the bears said it was going to be a long cold winter. But when are some going to come out of hibernation.

It's going to be a long, cold, hibernation for the bears.

Next crash due in around 16 years.......

Didn't expect this at all! Still, it's slowing down it seems.

The last 8 months of 10% + gains, totalling £15,018 on the average house, whilst unemployment rose and income growth declined, would tend to disagree with you.

And in other news, asking prices remain far less relevant than actual sold prices.

Since when were NW figures actual sold prices:confused: I wont waste my time responding to your first point!

I have not seen a TIMBERfor months.:)
NW figures lag 4-6 week their figures are also fom the 20th of one moth to the next. Therefore these figures most likely relate to offers in Sept which is always good for buying. You are jumping the gun. The winter has not started yet. Its pretty cold today though.

    Great news,

    The housing peadophiles have won.

    Even better news....

By comparing homeowners with peadophiles, you lose what little credibility you once may have had.

    Well done.

    Keep up the good work.

So the "spring bounce" started December this year(well 08 really). (based on being 2 months before Feb as per above)

Ooops.... That's an "inconvenient truth" for them.

Prices started rising in March 09 so this would be Jan 09 which is exactly what I saw when I started looking at the beginning of the year. The spring bounce is a myth for prices. Just check the figures for this decade.

I totally agree, my comment was just a pee take of the "long cold winter" comments we get on here.
