Nothing worse than being stuck behind a peoplecarrier thats behind a lorry thats stuck behind a caravanner who cant get past the tractor thats being held up by the bikies riding 4 abreast.

There is something worse than that: Being stuck behind a slow moving vehicle where the car in front of you is a high powered vehicle, yet the doofus who bought it has never revved it past 3,000rpm and won't overtake.

Original version of the verso was 5 seats and the newer version has 7 but the rear seats are strictly for dwarfs!

I'm not sticking up for the verso as I don't like people carriers (each to their own),
but no matter how big the rear seats are they still carry seven people which a normal corolla cannot.

Similarly a People carrier full of kids watching DVD's and fighting in the back being driven at 85mph is bad driving.

It's no better or worse than you at that speed, providing you are both holding the vehicle in a straight line and at a contant speed, with full awareness of whats around you.

Why has no one mentioned the multipla in this thread :(:A:rotfl:
  • I wish proper people carriers had been around/affordable when i raised my brood.

Not nampy pampy things like Picasso/Zafira though, higher versions of cars really with little real gains in room, though the additional headroom is welcome if it wasn't accompanied by the usual too shallow windscreen slope.
Would have given my eye teeth for something like a Hyundai i800 for instance, acres of room, based on a sturdy van chassis with a decent turning circle.
One of the most underrated MPV's was the 806/synergie/ulysse, again based on a competent van and tough and reliable for it....forget looks, even the most skilled spin doctor can't convince any normal sane person that a MPV looks nice.
