How to block 0 feedback bidders!?!?!?!

Is it possible to block people with no feedback? I just dont want to risk it with them, I've heard somewhere that you can block them. I got an item for sale, and dont want any last minute bids by 0 feedback bidders. It will leave me no time to cancel, so, is there a way of blocking them altogether?

Thanks,

If you go into My Ebay, then My Account. Choose preferences & buyer requirements. I don't think you can block 0 feedack bidders, just -1 & below, though I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong :)

0 feedback bidders aren't all bad - 4 of my sales last week were to newbie eBayers with 0 feedback. We all had to start somewhere, though it is wise to be cautious & only send to a confirmed address via a trackable method.
Ebay~ A wretched hive of scum and villainy. :p

nah, ebay makes too much money from listing fees and 'forgotten to claim' final value fees for auctions gone wrong

they won't allow you to block 0 feedbackers unfortunatley :-(

Ok thanks. Its just that I see a lot of 0 bidders becoming 'unregitered users'. I'm not willing to take a risk, especially, when they bid wildy. If only I could cancel their bids on time, they usually start bidding in the last few seconds.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

If it's a high value item, then you could add something like "Bidders with less than 5 feedback please contact before bidding or bids will be removed". I did that when selling a phone, someone with 0 feedback contacted me, then won the item, and they paid immediately by postal order.

I have the 'anyone with less than 5 feedback.......' comment, but people still bid and its impossible to remove in the last few seconds of an auction.

The reason eBay won't allow you to block 0 rated bidders is not because they make too much money from unclaimed FVF's, it is because if they allowed this option, then I'm pretty sure around 90% of sellers would use it and so this would render the eBay service useless for new eBayers as they would not be able to purchase items from a vast majority of sellers and you'd end up with people not bother signing up to eBay.

The above post offers the best advice, make 0 rated bidders aware that they must contact you before bidding otherwise their bid will be cancelled.

You can block buyers who have low (any you choose less than 5) feedback and don't have a credit card registered.
