Yeh right. That's why the don't even make contact and become 'non-registered users'.

Still thinking that the item is'nt describe properly?

I have a high priced item [£109] which has just been bid on by someone with 0 feedback [and they only joined yesterday]. I'm not someone to be snobbish about new members, as I'm fairly new to ebay myself, however I recently reported someone for copying my ad and stealing all my copywritten images, for their own add [for this very same item in fact]. they were most likely warned by ebay, and I want to avoid being messed around by someone looking for revenge.

It might not be them, but it could be, so I'd like to know more about them

Is it acceptable for me to message them and ask how they will be paying for the item?

i want to make sure they're legitimate but i'm not sure how, or what is acceptable to ask.

Ebay advise this, when considering bid cancellations

"Legitimate reasons to cancel a bid include:
A bidder contacts you to back out of the bid.
You cannot verify the identity of the bidder after trying all reasonable means of contact."

So does this mean I'm okay to question his identity and/or details before my auction ends?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
