haha very funny. Im not labelling all ebayers with 0 feedback. It's just that the last couple of days i've sold a few things which have not been paid for, guess what? they were people with 0 feedback.

I actually started off with 1 feedback. MAGIC!:p

Your other option would be to take paypal only and hit the button on payment page that would insist that the buyer had a paypal account - might help in sorting the Wheat from the Chav (all puns intended).

Never used this option myself but seen it on other peoples auctions so imagine it's some deterrent i.e real address and bank account etc.

All my zero feedback buyers have paid up fine. Worst one lately was 25+ feedback after a month and several reminders I put a NPB on her and she got stroppy. You never can tell.

Well as somebody who likes to be nice and didnt worry about a 0 feedback biddder ( they had bid on other similer items), the 0 feedback ebayer won my high value auction and guess what??? Im still waiting for contact from them!

Im really peed off as now I have to re-auction, which we coudl block 0 feedback bidders on high value auctions.

It's just a co-incident that ALL ebayers with 0 feedback who own my item never paid. Even this one who wont my item yesterday hasnt paid, I know there's a 7 day limit, but he/she never even made contact.

Hard to stay positive when all the 0 feedback people who won the item never pay up.

I stated in my auction anyone with less than 5 feedback please contact me and will not ship abroad. Not only did this idiot not make contact his from that country USA.......Should'nt there be some sort of system wheer you can cancel the highest bidder after the auction and make the 2nd highest bidder the winner. I sent a few second chance offers, they never seem to be accepted.

    Thanks for the help!

You can set your auction so that people from countries to which you will not ship cannot bid. It's done in the same way as banning bidders with negative feedback.

If you think about it for a moment, the idea that all, most, or even many zero feedback buyers don't pay is absurd.

If that was the case how would there be so many buyers with 100% feedback.

All legitimate and well behaved buyers started with zero feedback.

It may be the type of item you are auctioning that is leading you to get such a high proportion of NPB's.

Alternatively, they may just find your auctions rather hard to understand. I find your postings require a more than average amount of work to make sense of.

So, even when my sister puts items up for sale, and gets NPB, does that mean she isnt make sense in the description?

Everything I sell is described well, I provide more than enough pictures and always remind the bidders of faults (if any), so, they have enough time to retract their bids.
