I try not to get into Csa Related threads cos they (the CSA) are carp but having read through this I'm not sure where I stand now. If I got involved with a fella with children who had to contribute (rightly so) to his childrens upkeep that would have an impact on our joint finances BUT the father of my children who does not and never has contributed has remarried and is in a wonderful position that her wages are so good He does have to work. Knowing he had 3 chilldren when she married him and his responsibily should be to put their welfare into consideration - is it fair to think that by enabling him NOT to work her salary SHOULD be taken into consideration?
    One life.
  • Unfortunately the nrpp's wages are not ever taken into account for the assessment but on csa1 they would have allowed more "free income" of the nrp's wages if they were earning a certain amount compared to the nrp (very complicated). If he is truly living off her wages then there is nothing that can be done unless you can prove otherwise. Does he not work at all?
