I had reason to go into my local hospital walk in centre late one Friday night. I subsequently found out that the Doctor on duty came from Austria. He flies in Friday afternoon and returns home Sunday evening. He sleeps off duty at the hospital. Apparently the hospital was unable to fill the post from within the UK. As no one was prepared to work the shift.

I have a friend who recruits doctors to do just that from Poland. To give you an idea...

The NHS contacts Recruitment Agency A in the UK and offers 80GBP/h for a doctor to come and fill certain shifts.

Recruitment Agency A contacts foreign expert agency B (still in the UK) and offers them 60GBP/h to fill those shifts.

Recruitment Agency B contacts Polish based Recruitment Company C and offers them 40GBP/h to fill those shifts.

Recruitment Company C finds the doctors and sends them over, paying them 30GBP/h.

I've seen evidence of this - and it just goes to show where the NHS is throwing money down the drain. They could easily set up their own Polish recruitment agency and save a considerable amount of money - but instead, they throw money down the drain on three lots of recruitment companies!

And given that some ethnics minorities have a birth-rate 10 TIMES that of the indigenous population, get ready for 'celebrating' a lorra, lorra diversity.

Really? There are groups with average birth rates of 20 children per couple including infertile couples/those using contraception?

Can you name this super-fertile group?

Bullsh1t. You make your own luck. Usually by working harder and being more ambitious than the next guy.
Nonsense. Anyone can succeed, no matter what the background, if they try. Sure, it's easier for those born in certain places and from certain backgrounds, but anyone can make a success of themselves if they want to.
Working hard is all there has ever been for some people and classes. Today is no different.
There are no guarantees in life, but not working as hard as the other guy has always been a good way to fail.....
Working hard does not always get you more than the person that doesn't work hard. My grandad worked very hard for most of his life but never really got much more and even got passed over for promotion as they couldn't afford to lose such a good worker on the brunt work so gave it to someone less deserving . This kind of thing happens alot now and I saw it time and time again when I worked in a factory.

As to the population and job problem even when we take the immigrants out of the equation there just are not enough jobs to go around everyone of workable age, that is able to work (and this is also forgetting those in education over the age of 16!). This is made worse by people taking more than one job because minimum wage is such a stupidly low amount. So to say that we need immigrants to keep our economy going is a stupid thing to say considering quite a few of them come to the country for a while to earn money and go back home. It's all fine when they are in the country paying tax etc as they are adding to the country but as soon as they go back (with a lot more money than they could have possibly made in their own country) they are no longer adding and are indeed taking away quite a substantial amount. It just isn't the same as country trading and holiday money circulation. Keeping as much money as possible circulating in our own country by hiring our own is more beneficial to our economy than immigration.

Also those generalising about those on ‘the dole’ are as bad as those that are being called racist. Not all people on ‘the dole’ want to stay on it, in fact I think you will find most want to get jobs but there are very few if any available add to that the pathetic wage that minimum wage is (that is the easiest kind of job to get after being on ‘the dole') it can easily become a catch 22 situation. They need/want a job but to do so could result in not being able to afford to live when you factor in housing, CT, water, electricity, gas, food and other basic needs!

Many things need to be addressed in this country and we all know it. We just need someone in power that can work out how to fix it and has the ‘b@lls’ to do it.

It's obviously that group of Polish Black Muslims from Israel that are doing this!

I guess if I couldn't drink and it was a choice between procreation and another bowl of chicken soup then Mrs Generali and I would have 20 kids.

    Your sort never do.....

But when you state that immigration leads to "cultural and social damage", it's pretty clear what you mean.;)

Doesn't it? I think the uncontrolled immigration we've had over the last few years has caused a massive amount of such damage – you don't need to be a 'racist' or even particularly intelligent to see it. It's made many white people feel marginalized in the communities they live in, hence the rise of the BNP.

Putting blinkers on and pretending everything's OK on the immigration fact won't change the facts.

    Ahhhh, I see.

Quite telling that you used the colour of skin to categorise people.....

So would those "white people" be marginalised by white immigrants moving in from eastern europe?

What about a sudden influx of white Australians? Would the white locals suddenly feel marginalised by their lack of ability to throw a good barbeque perhaps?

Or is it only the black people moving in that worries the locals....

    Contemptible.

A predictable and blinkered response from you.

The fact is that white people often feel that their culture and way of life are threatened by people of different ethnic origins, particularly when they are seen to impose their religious and cultural values on a population. Although there is certainly resentment against, for example, Eastern Europeans, they are not threatening in the same way because they are mostly rooted in the same civilization. This is not a 'racist' statement, just a matter of commonsense.

So you don't agree that many white people feel marginalized, and fear the sudden huge changes to their communities, particularly in areas of high unemployment, or where there has been a massive influx of immigrants? In many places, the people referred to as white 'chavs' come from depressed communities where there are no longer any jobs – they are a legacy of the destruction of manufacturing and heavy industry in this country. Why is nothing being done to help them to better themselves and become productive citizens, forcefully if necessary? If courageous and far-seeing politicians (none even faintly visible on the horizon) could bring themselves to make positive changes to their lives, I am sure the BNP would not have gained the foothold it has.

No amount of 'politically correct' verbalization from you will change the facts.

How would you forcefully make people better themselves and become productive citizens?

I know of a quite a few immigrants who started out working in low pay jobs, they got their English up to scratch and are now setting up their own enterprises, getting promoted etc etc. No-one forced them to do it though...so how can you force the UK born to do the similar?

Not being anatagonistic or anything just interested as I can't see how you can make people become motivated and driven just with a Govt policy.

    You can't.

All these racist types wish only to artificially restrict competition in the labour market, creating a shortage of labour, and forcing companies to hire people who have no interest in working hard and earning an honest living.

They fail to see the short sightedness of their plan.... And the incredibly destructive effects it would have on society. Everything from causing rampant inflation to triggering a pensions crisis.

Utterly foolish idea to stop immigration. We need more people, not less.
