Well when you live with someone and you love them you become too close to see, I see many things now that looking back weren't right with me and my ex but they were right at the time if that makes sense.
None of us are perfect and have perfect lives and a relationship works when you allow people to be who they are and both people are happy. Its only when you come away from that "bubble" that you notice these things. It doesn't make you stupid it makes someone who was in love and at the time happy in your relationship.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Well done for saying what was on your mind ! I bet you feel better now, def time for you to move on, if that means being single for a while or to start the dating "game", as long as you make yourself happy. :beer:0 -

I am defo gonna be single for a long time!!!
I do actually hope he gets himself sorted eventually, maybe he needs to hit rock bottom before he does.
I can't help but still care for him even after him being a !!!!!! because I am the nice person, I know he has/had times when he is nice but just find it ridiculous he can actually say to me what he has when he know he has hurt me and trying to pretend it was all me making him say what he did, thats how I take the him not being able to be cruel thing, like I pretended all the stuff he said last few weeks
Maybe in six months or a year I might hear he has sorted himself out a bit, not that I would ever take him back now.
Anyway!!!
He's given me even more reason to actually move on now. Still thinking the sensible plan would be to move home to save some cash up, just not sure how it will affect my sanityNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
You just have to think its a possible short term pain for a long term gain. Sit down and work how long you think it would be till you have £x ready for a deposit etc and it may motivate you.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

I worked out if i move home and save £600 a month I could have £8500 in a year with my savings already (nearly £700) and getting my deposit back.
Not quite enough for a deposit though really so would either be there a lot longer or have to work my butt off to earn some extra.
This depends on giving my Dad £200 for bills contribution and then just over £200 spending money. Obv if he wanted more I would give him it.Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Well with a bit of butt kicking and money making you may be able to get them up to £10k, what do you reckon you would need for a deposit?Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Depends, tbh I wanna buy a 2 bedroom house as not many 1 bedroom houses have back gardens and I want a back garden for the cats so would need at least £10k, obv with recession getting a mortgage alone may not be so easyNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
