Family have just noticed - I've been smoke free for 2 days now. Fingers crossed it continues.

Bit of a rubbish day, hideous time at work and had two smokes already, so need to try again tomorrow.

Had a NSD though and knocked another £10 off the cc.

The kittens are just hilarious and most evenings we've been entertained with them running and jumping about - at the moment they've just worked out how to get under the throw on the sofa.

NSD for me and I can't believe I've now knocked over £1000 extra off the debt.

Ah, you're doing brilliantly. Keep plugging away at the no smoking - am lucky, as never ever have, not even one, but your pocket and your looks will really reap the benefits soon.

Finished work for the weekend - I love my hours now! Kittens are still going barmy but seem to have settled down with the older cats.

Knocked another £8 off the debt. But I did spend today. I had some money refunded back to an old card that I have cleared and don't use anymore. So I used it to buy a new vacuum cleaner (as we desperately need one - especially with 4 cats).

Usual day off - running around after everyone else and cleaning! My life is sooo exciting at times (not!). Did contemplate going to a firework show but the weather is rubbish and we've loads to do tomorrow, so family night in instead.

Knocked a bit more off the CC and now enjoying a nice glass of white (and watching the neighbours fireworks through the window).

Nothing spent apart from a few groceries, made homemade lasagne for tea and even had the breadmaker going.

That all sounds a most satisfactory day! It always makes me feel very smug when I get my bread machine going - these days, mostly just use it for pizza dough, so really should get some more loaves going. When my boys were younger, I used to put it on so that they came home to the smell of a loaf baking. If I do get my redundnacy, shall be reviving that!

Lasagne and bread went down very well. Amazing how DS loves home made brown bread yet refuses point blank if I buy it.

Yes it was a lovely day and evening - kittens are a bit hyper now though, don't think I'm going to get to bed very early!
