Aah, the best thing is the only thing the kids have asked me for all night is a mug of cocoa. Bless them, who says you need loads of money for a good night. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Bit of a blow today, have had my weekend plans shattered. Still, hopefully OH will be able to sell my ticket on for me which will be a bit more to knock off the CC. Now need to sort out some free Saturday night family entertainment (anything other than strictly or xfactor!).
As for today, going to try and get away with another NSD.This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Well almost a NSD - had to pay to send a parcel back. But at least it will be £20 refunded for the contents and this will be paid back into the CC. Hopefully they will return the postage as well I did everything as asked. So £4.65 spent but I should get it refunded soon.
Playing Wii sports at the moment but loosing badly (my excuse is my opponent is much younger and fitter than me!).This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Have just worked out that if I keep up knocking a bit off CC1 each day, I can get it cleared by the end of the year. Then I will be CC free - what more motivation do I need.
So, here goes - £5 paid off today just to get things rolling. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Actually the most worrying thing so far was realising that I would have blown the £500 odd that I've paid off extra in the last few weeks. What a complete and utter waste. That is probably the one thing that has really opened my eyes to my attitude to money.
I guess I've been wasting that sort of money every couple of months for years. I probably could have paid off my mortgage by now!
Worse still is that the money has been fairly easy to find - just not going out lunchtimes and thinking twice. I've still lived, eaten fairly well and enjoyed the odd wine or two.
If I can keep this up for the next year or so then I will be able to rid us of some other debts that have been haunting us for years. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0
