  • come on girls, should i have another baby? i need you to tell me so i can blame someone if it goes wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My twopennorth comes from my own experience ;) My 2 are 22 months apart and I wanted a third once DD (the elder) started school. DH was adamant that 2 was enough, so I went along with that. I mourned a bit fro children 3 and 4 :o but now that thye're teenagers I'm so glad that I stuck at 2. We can afford the time and the money to do everything we wnat to. I'm fulfilled with being able to indulge my time on them and on a PT job, which I simply wouldn't be able to with 3 or 4.

Many of my frineds have 3 children and they constantly talk about how much more expensive a third child is, how many holidays are set up for families of 4, how you need a bigger car to take 3 chuldren and all their luggage on holiday :o

Possibly my urge to have more children is still there :o but as they're 14 and 16 I'm planning having pigs instead :T
Hang on, YOU need to change? It reminds me of men who hit women and say: "It's your fault I hit you, you make me angry."
If he's threatening you and making your life miserable, then it's really not worth it. You deserve to be with someone who makes your life happy, not someone who scares you or is nasty to you. I think you have done the right thing in asking him to leave.

    :T

Lou, do you have friends, family or professionals you can talk to about this? You can contact Relate, and they should give you someone to talk to. Hope things work out for you :A

This is it then - only really important stuff for tomorrow.

Strip , wash and replace bedding – done last weekend
also hoover floor in DS2’s room – done

    Friday ~ Bathroom
    Level One
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself! – going away for the weekend – think that counts!
    Declutter the floors! – done
    Level Two
sweep and mop floor – swept only

    Own list:
    make lunch x2 - done
get in bath and wash hair - done

sweep and mop kitchen floor – swept only
    shopping for weekend/petrol - done
pack for weekend – done – well almost. Would have finished if DS1 had got his act together, but I’m quite pleased that he wanted to watch question time tonight.
clean bath, sink and loo - done
phone Sheffield arena box office to check collection time for concert tickets - done
sell second ticket to DS1’s friend – confirmed price to DS1; waiting to hear (it will pay for my ‘organised mum’ order and for taking DS2 to see ‘up’

    Tomorrow morning:
start spag bol in slow cooker
    lunch x2
    empty and re-load dishwasher
    organise paperwork
go to work as early as possible - no later than 7.30

    At work:
See DS1's friend about the concert ticket
Write down train times for DS1 for Saturday morning
    perform miracles

    After work:
collect pie and cake from farm shop for tea
collect DS2 from friend's house (on INSET)
    finish packing with DS1
    check important stuff (money, tickets)
    pack last minute food stuff
    have cuppa
    load car
drive to Bridlington for music festival :j:j:j

Forgot to say i have listed 10 items on Ebay and will do 10 per day till everything has gone.

On the new baby front if it was left to me i would have another. My dh does not want any more kids and at the mo just started a new job so i would like to settle in there as well.

It took me 11 years to get DS after being told at 18 i would not have any kids so he is my miracle baby so i would not mind if he ended up being an only child but would prefer him not to be .

If you can afford and have the room then go for it xx

    Morning All

There seem to be a few people going away so have a great time all of you.

Piggers - make sure you rest - I know you find it difficult but you'll be better quicker if you take it easy for a change.

Sexy - hope everything went well yesterday.

Lou - hugs - pm me if you want to chat.

Lots of GO AWAY vibes for BD and hugs for those he's visiting at the moment.

Well done on the weight losses.

I'm sure I've probably missed something but that's because I have a brain like a sieve.

I had parents evening last night for my 2 and they both had very good reports so pleased with that.

Off to Zoe's tomorrow so I won't have much chance to get stuff done and I'm at my parents' house for tea tonight so it may be Sunday before I get round to doing anything else, However half-term next week so hopefully I will get something done then.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

  • Sorry I have been playing catch up - yesterday wasa bad day! I had to eat lunch alone as my support worker had to change her time to take me out and I stupidly ate a granary roll part of which went down the wrong way into my lungs!!!
    :eek::eek::eek::eek:
I can understand the temptation of a fresh granary roll - but you were lucky - so don't take such a risk again - pleeeeese.
We need you around to keep an eye on us.

Def too many BDs around at the moment - shoo - go away - not wanted!
