And, while I have spent most of the day asleep, I am going to send OH off to shop for milk so he can make me a cuppa... :D .. then I am off to my nest as I am shattered..

Good - that's what you need for the next day or two - a bit of delegation and commanding and lots and lots and lots of rest. The wallpapering will still be there when you've had a chance to recover.

pigpen - very pleased to read that you've had your treatment. Hugs whether you want them or not!:p;)

soappie - hope the sun shines for you tomorrow.

Hugs for Lady Liberty and Toots.

Just flitting in and out. :jI'm on halfterm now:j Just as well, I'm shattered! I had to cave in and take paracetamol (rarely bother) as my head was threatening to fall off at lunchtime. Wretched sinusy cold.

I've done no flying at all this week, but DS2 tidied the hall and stairs, and vaccuumed downstairs this afternoon! I'll claim his star tomorrow. DS1 has also done his bit with washing up and the washing machine, so we're not living in total squalor. Just as well, as a previous neighbour popped round so DD could model something she's (neighbour) doing for her fashion degree. At least the downstairs looked half way reasonable!

I'll catch up with you all tomorrow.

Why do you think it will have a negative impact on the two you already have. BTW, I'm nearly as old as you and I haven't had any yet - (due to lack of opportunity), so I can't really say that I know what the impact would be (I do know they're noisy and messy, but that's when I give them back :p)

They are happy, and yes they are noisy and messy and sleep-depriving. The two we have get on sooo well, and I don't want to mess with that. It just feels somehow selfish, and there's also the sneaking feeling that...what if we don't stop at 3...but having DD2 was so perfect, that its sort of addictive.

I've emptied the DW, cleaned the filters, put some more stuff in it...

Stupidly I did proper cooking rather than reheating for supper, so the kitchen now needs cleaning again!

I've got my blackberry now for work, but they forgot to set up the email . Hopefully it'll start working tomorrow, and then I'll be able to work from home occasionally!

Managed to drop my safer recruitment certificate off at school, collect an ebay parcel from the post office, drop HR's letter off with the GP (with a covering letter from me explaining that it wasn't my fault they were so cr*p) and go to the shop for yogurt.

Also came to the rescue of a colleague who's at a conference and provided him with answers for a client which none of the rest of the team could help with :D.

I hope to get some time tomorrow to sit down and plan what I'm going to research/write over the next year, but I seem to keep getting side-tracked!

Just need to wipe over the hob, make breakfast & lunch, empty my gym bag from this morning and work out what to wear tomorrow so I can repack it. I keep thinking I should use my sprained ankle as an excuse for a lie-in, but can't quite bring myself to do it, so i'm doing upper body workouts and no CV!

Well you COULD follow pigpen's example ;)

There's no reason that another wouldn't get on with these two well (and bear in mind that although they get on well now, they will have their ups and downs over the years anyway).

If you don't have another one, will you always feel regret that you didn't while you had the chance?

If you think you have the capacity & resources (emotional, financial, physical etc) to love and look after another one, then I don't see why you shouldn't.

Maybe you and DH should just sit down and write up the pros and cons. You can either:

    a. decide no - but revisit the decision every 3 or 6 months (that way you aren't thinking about it all the time, as you know you'll be discussing it at an agreed time)
    b. decide yes and start trying
    c. be indecisive and not try but not try not to... (which realistically, counts as trying while pretending you haven't made your mind up!)

Who says you can't use condoms? ;):p:D

I am also allergic to spermicides and the lubricants.. :p... I'm not easy to put up with.. in case you've not noticed.

Hence I ended up with 8....

The only 2 of mine that don't get on are 4 and 5.. and number 6 is a witch so is not liked much.. number 7 is absolutely adorably lovely which led to number 8 who is an absolute unadulterated minx!!!

If you don't stop at 3 you'll have number 4.. that kind of follows! :p

How is having a child selfish?? You give every part of yourself.. your body and time and everything.. you come last on your list of priorities.. where is the selfishness??

If you have room in your home and your life, go for it.

I really wanted 2 more but it was not to be obviously...
