It reminds me of men who hit women and say: "It's your fault I hit you, you make me angry."
If he's threatening you and making your life miserable, then it's really not worth it. You deserve to be with someone who makes your life happy, not someone who scares you or is nasty to you. I think you have done the right thing in asking him to leave.

Couldn't have put it better myself than what Rose has said. Plus I am in a similar situation as yourself and can't offer any sensible advice as I am in a similar point of change too

ok, have DD1 - 6 and DD2 - 2. Will have to continue to work full time as I do now. Am 37 now, so no spring chicken in the baby stakes, though i have lots of friends have had babes in their forties. DH and I would like to, but worried we are being really selfish and putting our girls' opportunities behind our wishes.
Princess Lou you need to keep yourself and your kids safe, and then plan for your practical needs and theirs, assuming OH will not be there. If he gets with the program, then its a bonus. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

OH told me 'its your loss' went and packed the wii and golf clubs in the car. He has packed all his clothes & then has just told me if I change he will stay.. I dnt want him to go but he just keeps doing the same things. He was being so lovely a few days ago. Hes just gone to get DS frm school disco..
It's your call, but why should you have to change? Also, it would very clearly be his loss, too. Can you rely on someone who packs his stuff one moment, only to offer to stay a minute later? Maybe he's realised what he would lose and he's trying to back out of going without losing face by putting you on the spot. My DH used to leave a newspaper out, opened on the rentals page, pretending to look for somewhere to stay. Should have called his bluff, but I didn't want to lose him at the time. I know now that he wouldn't have gone.
Most important, you need to take care of yourself. You'll be fine, no matter what. :grouphug:0 -

ooh I am so pleased with myself
DD wants/needs (broken strap but over a year old) new backpack for school and, as is befitting a young lady wants something trendy (and pricy! ie not my usual market find BUT was on Amazon this morning doing a bit of devious shopping which is being delivered elsewhere;);) and noticed that if I signed up for their mastercard I would get a £15 off my next order.
So I did. And I have
Bag now £2.99 + P&P (not a direct Amazon sale)
And we have a week for it to arrive in!
re the HHC I did with Jinky - kitchen finished and tidy. I have decided to buy hooks for oven gloves/panholders as shelf I keep them on normally is full of Robinson's squash which has been on offer at Mr Ms for 50p. (Cupboard under sink full of bottles of thick parazone bleach 40p in Lidl)
I'd buy more if I had somewhere to store it!
Hugs re the violent men - been there done that got strong and chucked him out! But I got very low first - it's the hardest loneliest place to be:o:oDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening all,
Hugs to PrincessLou.
I've been laughing at DS1 and DSS. DSS is a bit of a clean freak, he always has been and his room is always immaculate. OH has been renovating his house for a few years and even when it was at it's worst and it was mostly a building site DSS's room would still be clean. DS1 is the complete opposite and can mess up a room within minutes of tidying it, he will wallow in his own mess until he wants pocket money.
Last night DSS came over here to play on the Xbox with Ds1, he took one look at his room then said i can't play in this mess. Ds1 couldn't care less so DSS cleaned Ds1's room for him.
Tonight DSS came over again and wasn't very happy that Ds1 had already messed his room up again:rolleyes:, so he cleaned it again. He even tidied his wardrobe. I then heard him say to Ds1, i'm going to come over every night now to check you're keeping this tidy because if you're not i won't be happy after all my hard work.:rotfl: Ds1 just said yes i will don't worry:eek:, he probably will as he looks up to DSS a bit even though they're the same age.
I was wetting myself listening to them. As DSS left i said he could come over everyday and clean a bit of the house for me, he told me not to push my luck:rolleyes:.

I agree with Greenbee - we need arguments for and counter arguments against...
Piggers - just what DID they do that's got you signed off for a week? And, more importantly, has it worked?
I have a strange and unwelcome black dog peering over my shoulder. I keep trying to shoo it away but it ain't going. I think I need to buy me a light box..... 3 days of gray and I'm down - big time.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
