can someone pm/facebook/email me about the plan for Saturday, I'll make it if I can but I might not know til tomorrow night. DH is studying so hard at the moment that I want to be able to say yes we can go out if he wants to.

    Done!

Could those of you who are definitely going to be there on Saturday please let me know as the list is getting shorter by the hour?!

I will be on here till early afternoon tomorrow - after that you'll need to text me, so let me know if you need my mobile number.

Weather's not looking good for Saturday

    I have washed up!

ETA - soappie - hugs; lots of us going through it. Take care x

Piggers - just what DID they do that's got you signed off for a week? And, more importantly, has it worked?

Don't know if it has worked yet but the signs are looking good.. I 'think' they hung my up by my ankles and beat me with sticks from my knees to my waist.. then jumped up and down on me lol. Or, they could have vacuumed my innards whilst dangling me by my ankles..

I'm not signed off for a week.. just the rest of this one.. :p

They still saw me even though I got the children sorted and turned up at 8:45am.. and was being anaesthetised at 9:08am.. THAT is service.. or maybe my reputation precedes me and they wanted me out ASAP!! lol

Words of wisdom to anyone having anaesthetic...

DO NOT GO TO B&Q ON THE WAY HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL!

Yes of course it was necessary.. I hobbled around like an ancient grannified corpse and I only nearly collapsed twice.

Well done to you Piggers - and the hospital for accommodating...But please take it really easy for a couple of days.

I remember when I first had a miscarriage. I was bleeding so much, it was a real relief to go to the operating theatre and then to wake up to find there were just a couple of spots IYSWIM rather than a sit up, cough and whooosh - gushing and mega stained knickers and bedsheets!

ok, have DD1 - 6 and DD2 - 2. Will have to continue to work full time as I do now. Am 37 now, so no spring chicken in the baby stakes, though i have lots of friends have had babes in their forties. DH and I would like to, but worried we are being really selfish and putting our girls' opportunities behind our wishes.

Are your children happy? If you're good parents, its unlikely that having another one will suddenly make you inadequate. Why do you think it will have a negative impact on the two you already have. BTW, I'm nearly as old as you and I haven't had any yet - (due to lack of opportunity), so I can't really say that I know what the impact would be (I do know they're noisy and messy, but that's when I give them back :p)

I have a feeling I know what they did to you . It took me nearly a week to fully recover from the anaesthetic :o It does something to your brain!

It was actually the same doc as I had seen on Tuesday and she was less unpleasant than the others I had seen. Due to my latex allergy I was pushed to the first slot .. so, while I may not be able to use condoms it does have its advantages.. lol..

And, while I have spent most of the day asleep, I am going to send OH off to shop for milk so he can make me a cuppa... :D .. then I am off to my nest as I am shattered..
