    re Grateful's dilemma
Possibly my urge to have more children is still there :o but as they're 14 and 16 I'm planning having pigs instead :T
because, of course, there is no difference between teenagers and pigs!

I'm the eldest of three (sits back for chorus of 'but you wouldn't think so' from her family ) as are both my ex OHs - and that was three same gender.

When I had DD, having had DS, LOTS of people said - well, you won't be having any more, as though the idea is to have a son and a daughter... I was stopping at two whatever ...my choice (and exOHs choice, too). My sister has four. My mum was an only and hates it and has longed for a sibling. Not least because of the responsibility of elderly and infirm parents and aunts (2) and uncle who were childless.

Anyway WM x 1 in TD, WM x 2 on,
am about to have a :coffee: and scan and defrag.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I think I've mentioned on here before that I have a pig, called Crackling :D She is, to use a horsey term, "at livery" ;) I went to see her and her sisters on Monday and can say that their pen was no way near as smelly as my teenagers's rooms first thing in the morning  :p :rotfl: Anyone want to see an up to date piccie of them

Good morning everyone; so much for a lie-in today  my body clock wakes me at 6ish whatever time I go to bed  May have a nap later :T

Off to find a list ...........

    Penny. x

I'm also the eldest of 3 girls :T DH is the elder of 2 boys. DS is cross as he's the only one in our family with no younger siblings to "boss about" as he sees it  :D

DH is currently in China and says that their Single-child policy has had all sorts of effects on children who are only-children, only-grandchildren, with no siblings, cousins, aunts or uncles

Grateful - have you thought of starting a thread on the Families Board? I've found them to be a very helpful bunch!

Observation - Just "scraped a satisfactory because they were being generous" - didn't feel up to coming online last night everyone, cos I was very tearful again, but thank you to all who supported me. Really want to leave this school, but can't, so I'm trapped until end of August - that's if they allow me to pass my NQT year. They made a point of saying that I only have a short time left to prove myself (7 weeks after half term), so I really hope I pass, otherwise it'll mean I can't teach ever again.

Got to go, as I've got to get off to school.

Froddy, I'll text you about tomorrow - definitely want to come, and OH is sorting out the tickets today for me. Serena could you let me know what time you'll be at Victoria please?

Hugs to all who need them.

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

That to me does NOT sound like a very professional thing to say
I hope you are keeping notes, cos it sounds to me like they are scape goating:mad::cool:

Morning. DS went to bed at 9 and is still asleep. I went to sleep at 11 and woke at 2am...you just can't win can you!

Wilf - you have a lot to answer for! After all your decorating/sorting/organising a promise is a promise! DH isn't taking the children away this week due to DS not being well so we're decorating / attacking the children's room!!! I blame you:rotfl:! DD already has nice furniture so her room is just being gutted and painted. DS needs new furniture so we're going for 3 x red billy from I**a and getting lots of storage boxes from somewhere. His room will also be decorated.

So, today's plan is to start clearing their rooms and chucking stuff. I also need to find some good storage boxes. I don't like the cardboard ones I**a sell to fit the billy bookshelves so need something more robust.

Sending DD to school, having a cat nap because i'm shattered and then clearing their rooms - 100 things in one room then 100 in the other until it's finished!

    Have a great day xx

    Morning all

Toots love - stay away from those granary rolls in future!

Mumof4 - nice to see you and thanks for the update

Pen pen - would love to see a photo of the piggies

Sexym - big big hugs love xx Did they say why it was only 'satisfactory' and offered suggestions as to how you can improve in their eyes? If they haven't, then that's truly unprofessional.

I am up and bathed and determined to knock that black dog down. I shall try and adopt a Pollyana approach today I think.

Sorry - I meant to send massive hugs to you Sexymouse. My DS's teacher was telling me that she had an awful time for her NQT year. She was constantly being told that she wasn't good enough. She did pass and then came to work at our school - she's simply the best teacher either of my children have ever had. It really knocked her confidence but now she realises the problems were at the school and not with her. I'm sure you're fabulous too...it is them that has the problem not you. Hugs xxx

Soappie - i'll join you with the Pollyanna approach...at times it's hard but I do try to see the positive in things even if what I say is ridiculous. Have you tried throwing a stick for the BD and then running as fast as you can in the other direction so it can't find you. Daft? Yes but it might make you giggle. Hugs xxxx

Just going to throw a couple of things out from DD's wardrobe. She's starting to sort through some stuff as she's looking forward to having a trendier / slightly older bedroom.

    Is it bedtime yet? xx
