And also the Greek yog. There are only two types that are low carb that I've found - Lidl's bucket and Total. Also shouldn't be 10%, should be full fat.

Oh and... just buy lactofree milk for your coffee and tea. Can't understand why more people don't do it. It's low carb and tastes just like milk. You don't need to give up your coffee at all.

Breakfast has got to be the hardest part as I can't eat first thing in the morning so I don't tend to have my breakfast until I get to work and eat at my desk.

What about a protein shake for breakfast?

I like the idea of the protein shakes but I just can't get my head around it filling me up, I always feel like I need to chew.

I am sure the greek yoghurt that I had was low carb, I was going round Asda like a mad woman checking labels.

Just printed of a recipe for cauliflower pizza, going to try that when I buy some cauliflower, anyone had it before? Is it nice?

one of the problems with protein shakes is that if there designed for body-builders they are actually designed to be absorbed quickly to fuel the growth process after training

a lot of them also contain all kinds of crap, myprotien are pretty sound

this week i am having 200g of lean turkey breast for breakfast as it was on special in the deli counter, they look at me oddly when i order 1500g of it lol

I never really got on with cauli pizza. Could never make it not collapse in the middle - the taste is fine but it was always too wet and mushy. MAkes a nice change from meat and veg though.

I found the trick with the cauli pizza is to make sure you squeeze out as much water from it, once grated, as possible. If you do that, it comes out surprisingly pizza-like.

You can either use your hands and squeeze out handfuls at a time, or stick it all into a clean, dry tea cloth and squeeze it out that way. It's surprising how much water comes out!

It naturally has a high water content and if you don't do this - as I didn't, the first couple of times, then as Sarah says, the base won't crisp up as much and stays a bit soggy. Still nice tho :D

I've also made it with courgette instead of pizza. I find the courgette quicker and less fiddly/messy to grate.

Hope that helps, and hope you enjoy it - let us know how you get on :)
