You make that sound like it's some sort of alcohol withdrawal process you need to go through. :rotfl:

Just did a huge post, lost my connection and it floated off into the ether

Anyway, a recap, i was like that last year eric, cant quite believe it, but was never really hungry, even tried intermittent fasting http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/intermittent-fasting/fast-way-to-better-health/
and altho it would be impossible atm, was rather easy, went many hours without eating, and also without even thinking about food, and tbh i felt quite smug with myself that i could stick to it.
Didnt work for me tho, slowed loss to a standstill.
Been for a mosey round the old thread to find it, and realised how much success i had so i'm gonna try it again (Lcing) am just about ready to face bacon and eggs again, lol

very interesting article, i do eat a lot and every meal thou, and so far have lost weight every week

    Morning :hello:

Hope everyone doing ok at the start of a new week :D

I'm not, got weighed this morning & I've reached 14 stones, that's nearly a stone ON in the last few weeks !!!!!! :(

So, I've decided to have a break from even trying to lose weight as my heart/head/stomach is just not in it :o I'm going to try & not even think about losing weight & just concentrate on sorting out the house & garden. Will also get my appearance sorted out, haircut, new clothes etc, just to smarten myself up. I'm still going to do the wii fit plus & go walking every day (that's the plan anyway) but that's from a fitness point of view, rather than trying to lose weight by doing it.

Anyway, good luck to all you luverly peeps, I'm not going to post on here for a while but I will be back

Well I promised myself I wasn't even going to look in this thread but I just can't get into the low carb thread - it's been on too long and I feel like an imposter, I joined this thread almost straight away so feel more comfortable.
Anyway - lost 1/2 pound since last wednesday - 1/2 pound in a week?? Something is stalling me and I don't know what - I swear no carbs have passed my lips:(

Anyway - Mazzers you really do crack me up and make me laugh out loud - not good when I am supposed to be working.:p

God I have missed you guys:T:j

Yay Foxy! You staying then? :D

Sweet, don't you dare disappear into the ether. You can eat Maltesers every flipping day if you want to but just keep in touch. We don't like it when you're too quiet. :D Come and moan about your weeds if you want to, tis all fine. :kisses3:

Ah but foxy, now we know how teeny you are.... half a pound is a good amount. It will take you a while because you have so much less to lose. Always gets harder as you get closer to goal. Keep going!

Mums at the school have started noticing my weight loss now, which is nice (as well as colleagues at work). I went through my wardrobe yesterday and now have 12 dresses that I like and can wear (some only suitable for knocking round the house though). Put a lot of things away in the 'too big' box under the bed - believe me, that doesn't happen much. Also there is almost nothing left in the 'too small' box... hurrah! And wore a gorgeous new dress to my best friend's 40th party on Saturday, got lots of compliments. First time in a long time for a strappy dress with no 'safety cardigan' and high heels. Twas this one: http://www.ohsoboho.com/clothing-c4/uttam-clothing-huella-dress-by-uttam-london-in-yellow-p2847

I am slightly behind in my plan still but in total have lost 34lb since the beginning of the year and have gone down a couple of dress sizes. I do feel really good right now but anxious about the future; can'tbear the idea of putting any of it back on (the aim is to start trying for a second baby very soon). My aim now is to be slimmer than when I got married (six years ago) for my wedding anniversary on July 3. Only four pounds til then so should be fine.

Wow sarah you must be looking fine if you can pull off that dress with no 'cover all' cardi. (Tis very nice btw.) I'm glad you're getting where you want to be.

Btw Foxy, sarah is right, half a pound is probably par for the course if your body weight isn't big to start with. Maybe specific exercise might help target the areas that are bugging you? Maybe you just need to tone? (Lol, I said that like it was as easy as making a cuppa :rotfl:)

Haha, I know I was meant to start going back the gym in May but decided that taking my 2 dogs out everyday is surely enough excercise.
I am going to cut out the Diet Cokes and as much Coffee as I can bear to see if that helps.

Sarah that dress is gorgeous - I think lots of colour in clothes always makes women look fantastic.
