not much point as this threads mainly a natter and binge thread now :rotfl:

To be fair, it was never intended solely as a strict diet thread, there's enough of those already.

hope u ok - am worried about ya xx

I'm worried about YOU. 5K run without a good reason, like being chased by the !!!!! or a big angry dog??? Dear me, just thinking about that is exhausting, think I need a little lie down. Now where are my chocky bickies? :D;)

Had lovely (relatively healthy) scrambled eggs and baked beans for brekkie this morning. Nom nom nom. off shopping now, will resist the chocolately treats on sale. Mmmm.

NMS - Can you wish my double chin away too? It needs all the help it can get!

    XxX

Morning all. Bit pleased with myself today, 5lbs off since Wednesday and I wasn't even being as strict as I maybe should have been. (Still drinking tea with milk and Splenda for instance.) On the right track at last though.

    Happy days. :D

How are you doing, skypie123? I hope the diet's going well for you and that you got through the Attack Phase okay.

My 5th and last Attack day was yesterday. I've just weighed myself this morning and have lost 6lbs. I've lost 1" off my bust (damn - that's always the first place to lose weight, unfortunately!), 1/2" off my waist and 1/4" off my hips.

I'm really pleased with that, but I did find the first 3 days of the Attack Phase really hard going. Although my cravings were quite bad on the first and second days, the worst thing was that I had an absolutely awful migraine for all 3 days. Apparently, that was probably a reaction to no sugar. Thankfully, though, I felt much better on days 4 and 5, and am feeling fine today.

I think the thing that got me through was making pots of chocolate crème from the recipes in the book. They tasted lovely and gave me something to look forward to - particularly as I'm not a big meat eater and hate fish, so my choices during the Attack Phase were somewhat limited.

Bring on the veg now! I've never looked forward so much to broccoli and leeks in all my life! ;-)

    Good luck with your diet!
