I think we all look forward to your words of wisdom. At the moment im laid up with a broken ankle. Im hobbling about on a crutch and have only just started to put weight on it again.
Hopefully, as I increase my mobility I hope to melt the pounds off.:D0 -
Oh Daisy... I hadn't forgotten you were a gym instructor, honest *simpers*
How depressing that they overestimate though. Bah.0 -

My parents got back from a summer in France a week ago and I went to see them. I was amazed to see how much weight they had lost - particularly my dad who definitely had it to lose on his tum! They don't really cook in the main and I think that has led to their very carb-led diet and subsequent weight loss. I had them over for dinner so I asked what they could eat and they said anything as they were at the stage where they have 'Dukan Thursdays'. I have now got the book and as soon as I have got far enough into the book I will be starting. If my parents can lose that much weight then trust me, anyone can!I have realised I will never play the Dane!
Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!!0 -
The speed at which you jumped on the bandwagon :rotfl:
I'd love a holiday in the highlands actually
Hey, bandwagons pass you by quickly you know.....you gotta jump whilst they're there.
Let me get doors and floors first then we'll see what we can do. :rotfl:as a gym instructor *rolls eyes - oh how quickly your friends forget ...* .
I didn't forget either but you know I'm full of sh*t...the new lady doesn't.Yet. :rotfl:

Right back at ya daisy.
We have sun too Maz, haven't seen sun in ages up here..might go stand in the garden like some hippy nomad, just smiling at the sun.Often thought I might need one of those SAD lamps, I'm sure my mood is affected by the dull drizzle up here.
Off into nearest big town today, need to pick up a few things for daughter. Will try to stay away from MacDonalds...but that's as much as I'm promising.
See you all later.

I now have a full fifteen mins to myself before i have to go to work
Never mind - i`ve got plenty done, just hope that i can keep up the pace for the next couple of days.
Foodwise i`ve had the cheese on toast as above and for dinner and tea i have a small roast chicken dinner packed into a tub to nuke at work and a small tub of leftover pasta, treats are a couple of home made hobnobs for later when i need something sweet.I should finish painting the lounge before i start full time but i know i wont.. wish i was more like SD
Thanks for that Mazzers, it made me get up off my @rse and stop feeling sorry for myself, if i hadn`t read that i wouldn`t have cut the grass or hoovered
I`ve been feeling a bit low the last couple of days so need to pull myself together a bit, although i said i wouldn`t let it get to me DH`s job situation keeps creeping to the front of my mind, can`t let him see me worried though cos i`ve got to be there for him to lean on IYKWIM.
Anyhow, best get a move on and organise a parcel redelivery then i need to get changed and off i go.
Have a good afternoon peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0
