    Hello miss OG, i've always eaten man size portions too, cant eat as much nowadays, but do sympathise.

    Had a nice vodka clouded day :)
    Everyone gone home and i'm off to watch tv.. dishes can wait til tomorrow :cool:

    Hi Peeps :wave:

    the weather here is horrible :( cold wet and just downright awful, i`ve got a huge pot of beef stew on the hob and i`m going to make some crusty bread to go with it, that should cheer me up :D

    Not much else going on really, i finally feel back to normal after all the beer on Saturday, i felt like my head was stuffed with cotton wool all day yesterday so its nice to feel normal again.
    School reunion was great and we`re having another one soon, won`t go quite as overboard next time methinks though :cool:

    Right i`m off to do some dusting :eek:

    WI week 4 - 11 st 5 lb GAINED 2 1/4 lbs :mad::eek:

    :cry: Well I am gutted. Especialy as I haven't really changed anything significantly or scoffed anything I shouldnt, no chocolates or naughty munchies, everything no or low fat, salad, fruit and veg, exercised, stayed positive and motivated.

    Been eating Fruit and cholesterol lowering drink for breakfasts, salad for lunch, then low fat meals for dinner with lots of veg, fruit n fromage frais as a snack, lots of water and a little exercise.

    Its really becoming a big issue problem for me now as I have had this trouble for past few years. I get to 11st 2lb and then it goes up not down. Its not psychological as I have really tried hard even more so this time. Went to the doctors 3 months ago, who told me to try WW (but I opted for SW), been back to same dr 3 times and weighed in over 3 months and lost, lost then STS when I was offered the 'diet pill' which I said no to (cos I dont see the point in them to be honest a lot of bowel trouble :o for 1lb extra loss not worth it (then what happens when you come off them?) ).
    What the dr has not seen since seeing her about 6 weeks ago is the massive weight gain from 11st 2 to 12 stone then the losses back down to 11st 2. So if I go back to see dr this week all she will see is a gain of 3lb and probably think I have not been trying hard enough.

    I am so :( and at the edge of giving up all the hard work as I have failed to break through the wall again and get into the 10 st band. I will try so so hard this week again for all it is worth.

    So fed up. :cry: Just dont understand why I cant lose weight.

    Well got on the scales and Ive lost 2lbs since last week, but forgot to update my sig, so back to 13st!!!

    I can't get past it (despairing sigh). I usually weigh this when I get back from my hols!!!:o

    I going to have to do something drastic - Slimfast here I come (she says with a lovely pasta bake cooking in the oven!!!!)

    (Well maybe tomorrow - slimfast:D)

    Been eating Fruit and cholesterol lowering drink for breakfasts, salad for lunch, then low fat meals for dinner with lots of veg, fruit n fromage frais as a snack, lots of water and a little exercise. - do you have high cholesterol? if not save your money, btw a diet high in omega oils naturally reduces your cholesterol level, mines 4.3 and 35% of my calories come from fats and oils

    So fed up. :cry: Just dont understand why I cant lose weight. our bodies are not machines they dont get a fixed "mpg" sometimes they just do there own thing, salt and carbs can make you store water which can increase weight substantially, my OH came back from hols and put on 9lbs, 3 days later and back on a reduced carb diet and some light exercise and she had dropped 6lbs. Some times you will get no loss or even gain weight even thou you have done nothing wrong, it happens to all of us.

    you would be better of on a salad etc, slimfast is loaded with sugar (makes me go hypo), and if you reduce your cal into to much you can start to reduce your lean muscle mass
