Alias - Did you get your monitor? I can`t remember the lime thingy so maybe i didn`t send for that one, i forget what i`ve sent for a lot as some of the freebies don`t arrive and some take ages. I was going to test myself on the glucose thingy but Dad wanted it as he doesn`t have one and he`s recently been monitored closely as his levels are all over the place so DH has taken it to give him.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm an idiot. :o I'd forgotten all about the monitor! I thought you were the lime thingy. :rotfl: I was thanking you for the wrong thing. :D Sorry. :o

Just remembered the lime thingy was an MSE tip. :o No, never got the monitor (yet?). :D

I've just spent all afternoon under the desk. There was dust and inch thick under there, a mixture of ordinary dust, plaster dust and sawdust. :o I'd kinda poked it with the hoover attachment but there were so many cables to deal with I kept putting it off. However tis done now.

I had 2 monitors, 1 tv, 2 printers, a labeller, 3 external disks, a dvd writer, a phone, a shredder, a laminator, a power hub, a speaker box thing and various phone chargers and ipod chargers to unplug and sort out. Spaghetti junction was an understatement. :o

Joiner is coming back tomorrow so I probably wasted my time. :rotfl:

I really don't get why you are not stick insect material. You run about like 3 or 4 of us put together, you should be looking for tips about how to put weight on. :rotfl:

Mmmmm...maybe you are a stick insect but you love us all that much you're pretending to have weight issues so you can stick around. :rotfl::kisses3:

Maz...you home from work yet? Whatchya doing?

Got home at 5.20 due to shopping after work, beef off the counters is half price atm.
Well, what a difference a day makes, feel much happier today, worked with a colleague i've not seen for months and laughed and joked all day with him, i really miss him. but had a great day.
Things seem to be improving in work (i may be getting more hours very soon.. wont hold my breath tho) and my boy is settling in with his flatmates.

Daisy i like the look of your weekend and fancied the workout in the dark as well
Agree with alias on the support part though :rotfl:

Alias, i had a lime thingy yesterday too :)
I have said the very same thing to SD, how on earth does she need to lose weight??

Also wish i lived nearer SD.. to sample your cooking, purely for helping you perfect recipes you understand ;)
  • Thanks very much for all the useful information. I currently play gaelic football, which isn't as rumble tumble as it sounds/looks...i'd describe it as more of a netball/kicking sport so i do jumping, catching, kicking and running for it.

I think its the shift work that does it :( I was fine weight wise until i started working shifts and then i just ballooned, i keep thinking to myself "imagine what size i would be if i wasn`t as active"

If i could just work the same shift week in week out i`d be a lot better, i just about get into a routine and then its all change again!

I sample enough of my cooking for all 3 of us i think :D

    Morning peeps

woke up on the sofa again :o I crawled up to bed but DH was sleeping diagonally so no room for me - i decided to leave him as he is the one at work today, i went back downstairs and started chopping and filling the dehydrator. In it atm are bananas, apple slices with cinnamon, tomatoes and lots of peppers :D

I was good this morning and had some weetabix with hot milk for brekkie and now i`m eating digestive biscuits with hm plum jam on for dinner :o

I didn`t get around to making the pasties yesterday so i`ve got them in the oven now and a huge pan of lentil and bacon soup is simmering away on the hob so the house smells lovely, i made far too much filling for the pasties so i`ve put it all in the fridge and i`ll make beef stew tomorrow.

Both woofaloes are walked and the younger one and the cat are tormenting each other trying to see who wins *rolls eyes* the winner seems to be the one that gets told off the least by me - the cat is far worse than the dog at tormenting :rotfl:

Its my school reunion tonight, i`ve not seen these peeps for about 27 years, bet i`m the biggest girlie there, should be a good laugh tho - if i can get into my jeans to go that is :D After a few beers i won`t care :p

Lovely and sunny here today but bloody cold, when i woke up this morning there was a light flashing on the weather station thingy on the mantlepiece, i thought that the batteries needed changing but it was an ice warning as the temp was sub zero  Dunno about Autumn cos it seems like winters not too far off.

Right i`m off to check the oven, will clean the kitchen later as it looks like a bomb has gone off in there :D

    Have good days peeps.

Morning all, tis a fabulous day :)

Washing is in, beef is roasting... ahh, the simple pleasures :)

I should go to the local resort with loads of friends which has an Elvis convention, but dont fancy it (one curled up lip is enough, never mind a thousand ) so i shall stay in and have a few glasses of the hard stuff later ;)

What a boring old fart :D

    Morning peeps

very windy here today, sun keeps trying to come out but its not quite making it yet. I`m off out in the garden shortly as i`ve lots of weeding and sorting to do as lots of things in the greenhouse are finished now. Hope to do quite a bit as it will rain later. Also need to blow some cobwebs away after all the beer last night :p

Just taken all the veg and fruit out of the dehydrator and bagged it up. The tomatoes have gone back in for a bit though cos they seemed sticky in a funny kinda way, i`m surprised at how tiny everything is so it should be easy to store.

Not sure what i`ll be eating today, just me and the cat as DH has taken the woofaloes fishing so no one to cook for - will probably just have soup and then cook the beef stew later to freeze.

    Have a super Sunday peeps.
