    Holiday Haggler
well been out for my meal and I think I did really well, avoided the carvery and went to a Harvester, had chicken breast stuffed with bacon and cheese, and it was served with potatoes and peas..... BUT I left the potatoes, first time I have ever done that and I walked out so proud of myself and I was still full:T
Oh and I had a salad for starter:D

Well I had an interesting day. Second visit of the weekend to the garden centre and they forced me to eat a cheese scone while we were there. :D

Daughter was at a friend's house last night and stayed there for dinner today. OH and I had a spur of the moment 'we're off shopping' idea this afternoon.

We left the house like a tip figuring it was no big deal and we'd sort it when we came back.

Only when we were out, son decided to visit with girlfriend. :o:( I've never been so embarrassed since...well the last time I was embarrassed. :rotfl:

The girl has only been in here once before for literally 5 minutes and I'm mortified about her seeing the house like this.

Oh well, I'm sure the bottle of wine I'm about to drink will help me get over it. :D

    You asleep yet Maz? :rotfl:

I'm locusting my way through the house making sure there's nothing bad left for tomorrow.

Although I have bought the Holland and Barrett LC crispbread I don't enjoy them so have been eating Ryvita and Lidl's ones at between 5-6 carbs. Was in Aldi's earlier this week and found 2 that are within the LC range.

Savour Bakes Rye with no artificial additives (Green packet) at 3.1g carb
Savour Bakes Sesame with no artificial additives (Red packet) at 2.8gcarb
They are slightly bigger than the HB ones, taste much better have about 3 times the number in the pack and are only 59p.

Can I be really dense and ask what the pink and whites are?

    Hello all:wave:

Well I am over my pink and white drama:p
I have been as good as gold since then so I am allowing myself that little slip up;).

Its very strange but I am getting to the point where I can't be bothered to eat any carp as I don't want to feel down about it all. Also I have realised that since I have stopped my snacking after the first few days I have actually forgotten about snacking inbetween meals so I obviously can't be that hungry can I?:o

I am so hoping that I can stick to this the real test for me will be "that time" of the month:eek:

They are wafer biscuits with pink and white marshmallow in the middle, too addictive (I think they are low cal though)

So we (alias and myself ) thought we were dragging others down with our constant references to chocs and bread etc, and our inabilty to be lc.

Thanks for the info, i was almost out of crispbreads and didnt fancy paying full price for more :)
