Woo hoo, felt quite slim this morning and had lost another lb :)
Easily refused the pizza as i'd had food before leaving work, had two chicken legs and a muller light choc n cherry instead.
Along with the extra hours rushing about in work this should be a winning combo, i just dont wanna get knocked out of this mind set as i'm finding it quite easy :)
  • Well done Eric & mazzers!! :j

I wonder what 996 big macs actually look like?? _pale_ Bleurgh, doesn't bear thinking about!!

We had a taster session at SW last night & there were some gorgeous meals to try. It did make me think that I'm a rubbish cook :o I usually stick to the stuff I know like chilli and..... chilli :o but peeps had made all sorts of stuff, lots of luscious desserts as well

Anyway, it's made me think that when my fridge-freezer is either fixed or carted off to the big f-f place in the sky then I'm going to start being more adventurous in the meal-planning department!! I think I'll buy (or borrow from the library) a couple of SW cookbooks, definitely the curry one that mazzers mentioned & also look at the recipe list sunny posted a while back that I put in my favourites & then promptly forgot about (sorry sunny :o) as well as looking on the SW website. This all has to be done on a budget though as we spend waaaay too much on food & I'd like to bring the spends down. Phew, think I'm gonna be busy!! :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day - the sun is shining here after yesterday's deluge!! :D

    Hello all *waves*

I'm back from my Turkish holiday seven pounds heavier. Boo hiss. But am already back on the wagon (not that I really fell off - just one ice cream in two weeks. Rather a lot of gin and tonics though...). Mum's going into a hospice today so I'm going to be back and forth trying to see her as much as possible. Why are trains in this country so insanely expensive? A single from Peterborough to London this morning cost me £43. It's a 50-minute journey. That's nearly a pound a minute. Disgraceful.

Hope you're all well and behaving yourselves...

Welcome back sarah, 7lbs is nothing, you'll soon sort that out I'm sure.

Shame the hospice isn't more easily accessible for you but it must be a bit of a relief knowing Mum will be looked after well.
