Could do with some info regarding treats....
to eric
would like to have some sort of low syn chocolatey bar ( any ideas welcome) been having the new mini ryvita thingys and the odd go ahead bar but dont know the syn value of either.
Funny you should ask about chocolate syns, I've been laid in bed this morning going through my SW book looking for low-syn treats - the ones that caught my eye are 15g bag cadbury choc buttons 4 syns, cadbury fudge 27g bar 6 syns, 2-finger kitkat 5.5 syns, milky bar 12.5g standard 3.5 syns. Let me know what you would like to have & I'll check the syns for you. Woohoo on the 2lbs off btw!!
Morning peeps :hello:
Well I went waaay over on my syns last nightFinished off what was left of the wine (16 syns), had a full bar of galaxy cookie crumble (12.5 syns) & had a BBQd sausage (daren't look at syns for that). Oops. Just a one-off though, won't be buying any more of the cookie crumble (bit too sweet for me anyway) & I'm thinking of giving up alcohol :A
alias, glad things are better for you & yaay for a night out at the pics - what you going to see??
Happy Sunday everyone :wave:0 -

Awww, poor alias :kisses3: I hate the morning after the night before.
Never heard of Inception, I'll have to ask DD1, hope you enjoy it though & don't be falling asleep during it!!0 -

got to pay the reaper
eat some crisps and some "full fat" cola
this will replace the depleted salts and sugars which makes you feel ughhh
sounds like your going to have to hit the treadmill for about 9 hours to pay for last night lol0 -

Yip, you get nowt for free.
Feeling more human now. Didn't have full fat coke so had diet coke mixed with full fat lemonade. :rotfl: Along with...salt & vinegar crisps, one potato waffle, a toasted chicken sandwich and 2 headache tablets.
I've also painted the new bedroom coving and ceiling, taken down the very fetching butterfly light my daughter had when she was little and replaced it with a bog standard rose fitting.
I now need to go run network cable from the dining room, put dwangs in the stud wall so that my lovely new oak mirror has a secure fixing and then I need to go dye my hair.
No flipping rest for the wicked.
Oh and btw....I'm having fish & chips for tea.:D

Oooh, cant wait to see inception.
What the hell's a dwang?? :rotfl: sounds rude to me
Thanks for the info sweet, i have got the food directory but it's from 2004 so no new products in there.
I've bought some Tesco low cal choccy thingys, am assuming they're gonna be low-ish on the syn count.
Also got 100 free original recipes and free branded food books, as well as this one, the cover recipe is on the trial menu on their site btw.
Any idea if there are any crisp type products that come in low on the old syns as i like the occasional roll/crisps/choccy bar type meal around 5pm and that'll def help me to stick to it.
Had a gorgeous beef dinner, i worked out the syn value for a red day once upon a time, cant find my old note pad tho
was only the gravy anyway as i had two small new potatoes and loadsa veg and meat
I'm being quite :Aic... i think i've got those fabulous muller lights to thank for that.
Got a beef casserole (SW style) for tomorrow and it tastes luvverly
I have virtually given up alcohol too, but did have two small glasses with my lunch today.0 -
Afternoon peeps
lovely sunny morning today, really lifts the spirits. DH & i went blackberry picking and i managed to get 4lb so i`ve started off a gallon of winethe doggies loved it as they haven`t been on those fields for ages so it was like a mini adventure for them.
When we got home i cooked a lovely dinner with pork chops and lots of veggies from the garden and now i`m at work for the rest of the day. DH didn`t look too happy because i`ve left him the pots to wash
Weird thing happened yesterday, i went to work as usual and DH rang me as soon as he got home, there was blood everywhere in the house  its all over the walls, doors, cupboards etc and there is quite a lot of it. There are no marks on either of the dogs or the cat and all seem fine so we have no idea where its from. The only thing that i can think of is either one of the dogs had a nosebleed and shook it everywhere or something like a mouse got in and the cat has had it. It`s really high up as well so its a real mystery.
I`ve just had a small ham sandwich for dinner and i had 3 crumpets for brekkiemy tea will be the dinner that i made before i left the house and i`ll heat it up in the microwave later. Will prob need a snack later as i`m here until 11pm but not sure what that will be yet.
Sweet - Very interested in the syn value of treatsany that you post will be noted down for when i get desperate
I`m not being strict atm as two weeks today we are off on hols :j
Alias - Glad you`re feeling better
Mazzers - When my Dsis did SW she used to save all her syns for the weekend and then have a blowout
Right best make a move, have a nice afternoon/evening peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
What the hell's a dwang?? :rotfl: sounds rude to me
A dwang is a small length of wood (usually 3" x 2" or 4" x 2" thick) that sits horizontally in between two stud uprights. So if you know the rough height of whatever it is you're going to hang, that's where you dwang....then you know you have a secure fixing into wood behind the plasterboard.
I have virtually given up alcohol too........
Me too.Weird thing happened yesterday, i went to work as usual and DH rang me as soon as he got home, there was blood everywhere in the house  its all over the walls, doors, cupboards etc and there is quite a lot of it.
Sat here humming spooky tunes.(Actually I confused myself...I started out humming the theme from Jaws :rotfl:)
That's seriously weird. My money's on the nose bleed
Alias - Glad you`re feeling better
T/Y
I'm sat here looking like a right honey with hair dye in and plaster dust all over my face. I had an old pillowcase over my hair so I didn't get dust or paint in it whilst I was working...I knew I wanted to dye it later. The neighbours must have thought I looked very fetching. :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0 -
mazzers, are you looking over my shoulder?! First it was the chocolate treats this morning & now the curry!! I was looking at the butter chicken recipe before I came on here because I wondered if it could be made SW-friendly (fat chance btw). So spooky you've mentioned a curry book - cue alias' Jaws theme!! :rotfl:
I remembered you'd done SW previously but never twigged you'd have the book :doh:Silly me. Well anything that you can't find in your book, just ask & I'll have a look in mine or on the SW website. The SW thread is good for info as well but sometimes it moves soooooo fast I can't keep up.
alias, hope the hair dye [STRIKE]hid your grey hairs[/STRIKE] worked out okEnjoy the film.
Sunny, the blood thing must have freaked you out  I'm hoping it was just a doggy nosebleed as well. And that's one week down for your hols countdown already - tis flying by!!0 -
Sweet, i've not tried the tikka masala but it does look rather nice.
I'll take a mosey at the SW thread later.
SD, i'd be freaked out by the blood, i think i've been watching too many real life CSI stories on the crime channel coz the first thing i thought of was murder
I used to save my syns for alcohol on the weekend too, but will use them for treats now seeing as i hardly get the opportunity to drink anymore.0
