Yep, the dream was very vivid & true to life - alias' house was an absolute pigsty!!
:rotfl:
Had a few dreams last night, in all of them I was anxious. Anxious that the big aeroplane hovering over me was going to burn me (it was facing upwards & was more like a space rocket). Anxious about going on a fairground ride. Anxious about leaving my mullerlights & wine at alias' house!! That was the most anxiety-inducing one actually!! :rotfl:
Anyway, I just read on the SW thread that it's possible to get referred to SW (or WW) by your Dr & you get 12 free weekly vouchers. I think you have to fit certain criteria by the sounds of it, maybe need to lose X amount of weight etc but just thought I'd mention it.0 -

It is at the moment. :rotfl:

That sounds like a great scheme! Not sure I would want to talk to my Dr though, as his only suggestion for me was weight-loss tablets! I had to talk him into the option of hitting the gym
I'm currently on Celebrity Slim and have lost 6lbs without really trying so am a happy bunnyI really REALLY need to lose about 3stone asap, so am being very good!
Good Luck everyone!

How much do you charge?? We could be there for some time!! :rotfl: Actually I'm blaming my hormones. Again.
I'm supposed to be making chilli for dins tonight but the mince has gone a bit brown looking in the fridge _pale_ I know it's only supposed to be oxidisation or something like that but I really don't like the look of it. Might have to be just baked spuds tonight. I could quite easily live on them anyway, done in the oven, proper like :D0 -

:D
Can I file my nails with that?!
Decided against using the brown mince - bleurgh - so had salmon/red onion/quark/black pepper loaded potato skins for dins instead
I think I'm going to have wine tonight - I'm into Sauvignon Blanc atm & there just happens to be a bottle cooling in the fridge - now how on earth did that happen?! :whistle:0 -
Morning all. Got my Victor Meldrew head on today but am struggling between feeling justified and feeling petty.
Just kinda feels like the less you do around here the more rewards you get.
I was fed up a couple of weeks ago when I spent the day here by myself sanding and OH went to a local tourist place for a day out with his sis and the kids. Couldn't shake the feeling it was just unfair but it passed and I got over it.
Yesterday I was really tired but had been doing stuff once the joiner left (early) and the kitchen was littered with DIY stuff everywhere, no worktop to be seen at all. OH comes in early from work, makes the dinner then goes out for a run. When he came back he got himself organised and went to the pictures with the eldest. Now part of me thinks the eldest never gets anywhere so this was good for him and another part of me thinks the eldest does very little to help around here and moans constantly yet he gets treated anyway AND how come I get to stay home and carry on whilst OH gets to play?!
Sorry. It sounds childish now but I was really quite angry last night. I can't remember the last time I had any enjoyable leisure time yet he does little to help DIY wise and he gets out twice in 2 weeks. It's stuck in my craw, as they say and telling myself I'm being daft isn't helping me forget about it.
I ended up eating all sorts out of the fridge and going to bed feeling sick. _pale_
Got another busy day ahead of me...a ceiling to sand and a whole room to paint. Hope you lot have a better one than me.
Apologies for the moaning post....don't feel much like >today.

Morning peeps
sunny and nice here today, shame i shall be indoors for most of it, work this afternoon and cooking this morning but i need to get things done.
I got weighed this morning and was almost scared to lookI`ve been an utter pig for the last 3 days and although i`ve eaten what i should have i`ve also added some naughty extras onto it
Alias - I understand about the situation that you are in more than you realise as i`m often in the same boat here, you will be pleased and proud once its all finished and then you can enjoy yourself. I used to get by thinking this and although it seemed a long way off it spurred me on and helped a lot. Know about the eating until you feel sick tooLast night i ate a full packet of chocolate rolls and a full packet of chocolate biscuits and an eclair
totm is due and i`m putting it down to this.
Today brekkie will be toast and tea will be the pasta that i thought i was having yesterday. Not sure about dinner yet so it will probably be whatever i can get my hands on before i go to work.
The freecycle woman claims that she is coming this morning so i`m keeping my fingers crossed, i`m going to spend half an hour in the garden and then get the kitchen side of things sorted. Must do the shopping list for DH later too. Can`t see me fitting everything in but i`ll have a good try.
Have a good day peeps.:D

Hiya peeps :hello:
Just had the most disgusting lunch - baked potato (reheated from last night) & mushy peas. The baked potato was dry, bought them on offer in the co-op & they're not very good, much prefer the Aldi ones, & the mushy peas were more watery than mushy. So much for my cheap & cheerful lunch.
Hubby wants a BBQ tonight - cue him drinking far too much beer again & then his appendix playing up
Alias, you always seem to be doing something, I'm not surprised you're getting peed off. It sounds like your life is all work & no playI think you need a night out with the girlies!! Wish we all lived nearer to each other. Do the local school mums meet up?? Even if it's during the day for a coffee (& a cake ).
