I know there's no real reason why men should be better at dieting, but in my experience they just are :p

I'm up, no hangover, and a giant chicken has been roasted (was up at 6am to shove it in and roast slowly)

Had a nice evening, but drank way too much :o

Is a beautiful sunny day here so a bbq would've been nice, tough now tho, it's chicken dinner!

Thanks for the link to the BMR calculator, Eric - found it really interesting.

I think your approach to weight loss is the same as mine, just a lot more disciplined. My weight loss this year has been about 26 pounds - I'd have hit goal months ago if I had as much willpower as you. :o

very little will power here :), determination maybe, having my insulin under control helps a lot, although i have had ice cream 3 times this week :(

    Hi Gang

good to see ya back Alias :D

Just had breakfast  been up since 5am doing all the stupid odd jobs around the house and i`ve not finished yet, my energy is sapped though so now i`ve eaten i shall have an hour on the sofa and see if i can doze a bit.

Been bad today as i`ve been sooo busy and i`ve just eaten 4 slices of toast and 4 scones :o well three and a half scones as the cat helped me :D

I`ve painted doorsteps and drilled holes in lots of things so there is brick dust everywhere and now i`ve had enough and i just don`t care :p

I`ve also been promising myself that i will cook a chilli and a spagbol for the last two days so hopefully i`ll manage one or the other later.

I`m covered in paint and i`ve just seen my reflection in the screen and i have exterior filler dried down one side of my face  well it can stay there for the time being as i`m tired :D

Catch yàll later when i`m feeling better i hope.

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Well.. it'd either be you or me, everyone else seems focussed.
Although, it wouldn't be calorie laden enough for us :D

SD, you make me tired just reading about your daily exploits.

Must have been me. I think i've eaten everything in sight this week.

I've been sooo tired. In fact I attempted to do wii fit thing and after five mins gave up and went off into the kitchen to find something to eat! Does it count that I watched the tv sprite exercising? I've had tonsillitus this week (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) - so back on the old wagon tomorrow.
