Loads of good info there BUT - looks like a diet to me to be honest. But I guess if you can change to eating like that all that time then fair dos, just not for me I'm afraid!

  • Lol, I'm getting weighed in the morning on my bathroom scales, dread to think what it will say!! I've had 2 birthdays to contend with (mine & DD1) plus Scottish family forcing things like square sliced sausages & potato scones down my neck  I don't even like them (the sausages that is)!! ;)

Anyway, hello peeps, I'm back :hello:

    Hope everyone is doing ok.

Not that there's been much action on this thread while I've been away!! Everyone seems to be busy busy. I've just got back today (McDonalds big mac meal deal for dinner as cba to cook & kids wanted a free glass :o) & I think I'm getting a stinker of a cold :( Wish I had some medicinal brandy in the hoose (sorry, still in Scottish mode there).

I'm back on SW as of tomorrow, that's the plan anyway, I have 5 days before official SW weigh-in!! I intend making myself a big hot chilli to burn away any snotty cold bugs!! :rotfl: Seriously, it's one of my fave SW meals with a big old baked spud - yum yum!!

Oh well, I'm off to [STRIKE]raid the cupboards before tomorrow[/STRIKE] watch some TV

Sarah, so sorry to hear about your Mum. Stay strong. XX

    Morning peeps

thought i`d pop in and say hello whilst everyone else is in bed :D

Rellies are all gone now and DH and i have a couple of days off on our own before work beckons once again. We are going to get on with a few odd jobs around the house which have been put off for ages. Number one odd job being fixing the shower head properly as the riser rail has broken, having a shower is a bit of a challenge atm but luckily i bought a big fancy shower head and arm ages ago that was on offer so it should just be a case of drilling a few holes and fixing it to the wall. The bathroom ceiling and one wall needs a lick of paint to brighten it up too so that will be next on the list.

I`ve got some bottles etc sterilising so i will be bottling more wine shortly - need to replace the vast amounts that have been drunk over recent days and get some more started off. Need to go to Ald! later too as the plums are on offer and i need some for jam making.

Diet wise i`ve not been sticking to any plan properly but have been eating smaller amounts, ìve not been eating regular meals as such because our schedule has been a bit frantic at times but i shall get weighed on Monday morning and see if any / how much damage has been done, fingers crossed it won`t be too much. I can feel that my jeans are a little bit tighter but all in all not too bad.

Towards the end of the weekend i should be back with a vengeance and you will all be sick of me :D

Alias - hope that the house is coming on in leaps and bounds and that you`ve enjoyed some time away despite everything

Sarah - Thinking of you & Mum

Sweet - That SW chilli sounds nice :D any chance of the recipe? Hope that your cold is better now, the chilli sounds like just the job

    Mazzers - :hello:

Its certainly seemed strange not getting online much, be nice to be back properly soon.

Keep well peeps, i`m off to hang out the washing before it rains :D

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

went out to hastings yesterday and so had my first temptation meal out for a very long time

very very hard to find anything healthy, went for a jacket spud (no butter) with a small dollop of chilli con carne and a salad, which should have been about 400 cals

Thats the thing that tests me, eating out.
As you said, not much out there thats healthy.. apart from salad.
I usually end up having a treat and it knocks me off the wagon (the wagon is miles away atm)

So well done to you :)
