Hello everyone hope you don't mind me joining
I'm quite healthy in general. I walk my dogs around the mountain everyday (yesterday did 10 miles), eat quite healthily (could be better) and all that jazz but I still weigh 15st
I weighed in at 15st 3lbs last month so have lost 3lbs :j
However I've not long got over gastroenteritis and have just had a chemical pregnancy so I'm eating all the bad crap at the minuteI will get better soon, promise.

Afternoon peeps
been a bit manic the last few days so i`ve not been posting regularly, that and the lack of sleep are getting to me a bit as i need to change my routine as my shifts change or i`m in a mess for over a week. This time my bod said no so i`m all over the place.:o
Most of the lc food has ended up in the freezer as i`ve been too tired to cook so i`ve been eating lots of things that i shouldn`t
Eric - Thanks for linking to the article, i`ve been reminded of porridge quite a bit the last couple of days as i love it for breakfast, i usually add a teaspoonful of jam to it for varietythink that i`m going to buy some and see how long it keeps me full. From memory it used to do a good job.
Alias - I`m so mixed up that i thought you were away from next week, wondered where you werehope that you`re having a good time and the house is coming along well.
Sweet - Enjoy Scotland:D Thanks for posting what you`ve been eating, i`m [STRIKE]nosy[/STRIKE] always interested in what everyone scoffs as it gives me ideas and helps a lot. Well done on your loss btw *goes green with envy*:D
Tea tonight is going to be cheats paella, need something quick and easy, i`m not going to post what i`ve already eaten todayi`d be typing for a very long time :rotfl:
Right i`m off to check whether or not the rotten overflow is still running upstairs  and then hopefully manage a nap!
Have a good afternoon peeps.

Hope i am in the right place (this website is full of good stuff)
Am feeling very sorry for myself today
I have yo yo dieted for years.
Last year, I lost 3 stone with slimming world.
I suffer with clinical depression and have recently changed my medication and put back on a stone
my doctor says the pills increase my appetite.
I just don't think I can stick to a diet long term. my mood goes up and down. When I am up, I do more, excersies and lose weight, do my house up, etc
when down, the opposite happens, put weight on, lose interest in my home, stop going out etc
I am seeing a mental health nurse in September, but does anyone else have any ideas how to stick to a diet long term. Cos I need to stick to it at least for a year (want to lose 4 stone and it might as well be 400 stone in my mind)
thanks for any tips0 -

i have the same symptoms, i found a reduced carb low GI carb diet brought my insulin under control and pretty much removed all cravings, omega oil can help stabilise moods0 -
Just popping in to say hi. Not posting much as things too rough; mum is still in hospital and sadly the cancer has spread to her liver and bones. Just trying to make the decision about whether we go on holiday or not this weekend.
Ironically on the day I found out she was dying, I reached my goal weight. Kind of put a damper on the celebrations.... anyway. I have found it strangely easy to stick to my plan (I am phasing off now) and in fact have continued to lose. I think having control over this area of my life is actually helping me cope with mum, which is obviously a situation I have no control over at all.
Still reading on and off, so waves and hugs all round.

Hi Sarah,
congratulations on reaching your goal weight, sorry to hear that your Mum isn`t doing so well.
I`ve not got too much to say either atm and i`m going to try and have a nap soon as i`m so tired that i can`t concentrate on anything much.
((((HUGS)))) for you and Mum.

Hi folks, just a quickie to say "Hi"
Well done on your weight loss Sarah, you're doing so well and being so strong <hugs>
Wanted to say some other things, but forgotten now :doh:Brain's mush. I'm sure carbs. impede brain function :P (Shh, it's a comforting excuse!)
Looks like I might be a lurker for a while, since I've no right to post on any diet-related threads at present: it's all gone Pete Tong!
Summer holidays, on top of 'life in general' is presenting me with enough.. 'challenges': don't have enough.. sanity left for 'being good': what a shame it's like that.. like eating [STRIKE]carb[/STRIKE] carp that's no good for us is some kind of reward/comfort......
Anyway, didn't come to whinge. Just wanted to say that I'm still around (or should that just be 'round'.. :undecided ) and keeping an eye on you
Right, I'm off to neck a load of Omega 3 oil tablets! (just kidding)0 -

That sounds good, do you just make up a protein shake as normal and pour it over the oatibix? Can you use weetabix instead? Hmm, i only have strawberry shake in at the moment, would that be disgusting? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
