Lol, I like the sound of that fridge magnet but no, we get a hamper of goodies for slimmer of the week. Alas, it wasn't me this week so I don't know exactly what goodies are in there, maybe next time!! :rotfl:

There's always next week. ;) Congrats on the weight loss!

Just done my 1/2 hr wii fit. Now I'm watching some woman on the tv (fitness channel) doing relaxation. DH says he doesn't think it will work if I am on the internet at the same time :p

    Nighty night all. x

    Where is everyone today

Just to let you know I won't be around for a week or so as I'm off to Scotland today.

See you when I get back

    Hi folks.

Was just too tired to even switch on my lappy yesterday.
Felt ok when i got in at 9pm, but started nodding off on the sofa after eating, woke at 11.45 and went straight to bed (and straight back to sleep)

Got a mouth full of ulcers so am a bit run down as i got very little sleep in Manc (friend making funny pfffty noises with her mouth when she slept :rotfl: )

Sweet that is brill, keep it up, i did really well on SW, wish i'd kept at it.

Am wondering how sarah is doing, hope everythings ok.

Just had a letter off my doc to increase my meds, omg i sleep enough now

Someone was recently mentioning that beetroot juice lowers BP, i'll have to google that then as a lady in work told me she's had a mini stroke coz her bp is too high :(

anyone with BP needs to remove salt from there diet as much as humanly possible, that means paying special attention to processed food

caffeine should be knocked on the head as well as it causes arteries to restrict

I have never added salt to my food at the table, even chips, and use very little in cooking.
Processed food tastes far too salty for my palate, which indicates how little i use.
I like a coffee most mornings, but never drink during the day, i have tea or water with my food, and am not prepared to give up the odd cuppa
tbh, i think the new auto bp monitors are inaccurate as when it was taken the good old fashioned way at the hospital it was 'on the high side of normal'.

Googled beetroot juice and the bp lowering results sound dodgy, there were alledged links to beet juice suppliers, and the results were only observed very short term.

Worth a go for a couple of weeks tho, if anyones interested, sainsburys seem to be the cheapest for james white organic juice at £2.42 for 750ml.

interesting article, supports most of the things i have been bleating on about, eat lean protein, water does nothing for hunger, food suspended in a liquid (soup) controls hunger better than solid food and eat low GI carbs like oats
