here's one of my evening meals, complete with 450g of actifry wedges and 250g of roo steak
that's a large dinner plate, 900 cals the lot, if i eat less than this i go into starvation mode and stop loosing weight ...

Eric - is that "roo steak" as in Kanga.....? Is the actifry worth it? How many wedges/chips can it cook at a time??
Well I need to make sure I don't self sabotage. AgainHave lost a couple of lbs and I swear subconsciously I see that on the scales and think I can therefore get away with eating a little bit more. Which I normally do and end up yo yo-ing up and down a few lbs
I have been good today (despite being dog tired) and only ate when I was hungry. Not drunk enough water but had more than I normally would.
Sarah - hope the anti-b's kick in and that you're mum is back on her feet soon. It must be so hard on your being the only child xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

yep its kanga chunks, not the cheapest of ingredient, i only eat it on nights that i have been weight training but it does work out cheaper than steak, especially as there's no waste as i trim out all the fat from steak and normally sling 40% of it in the bin. Its about £6.50 but then every friday night i would eat £8 worth of KFC on my way home and then eat my tea as well, so is it really that expensive?
its about 1 cal per 1 g which is brilliant and it tastes great
honestly i would not have lost 126lbs this year without my actifry, its one of the two things i could not give up (my personal diet on my iphone being the other). Being able to eat normal meals every night just stops it feel like I am dieting, kanga and chips, salmon and chips, pork and chips, i dont eat them every night thou, i swap with rice.
it can cook 1000g of spuds although you can probably get 1200g in at a pushi normally eat 400-500g depending on my daily cal allowance, a jacket spud would be about 250g, and by using cold pressed virgin rapeseed oil you are also getting a huge dose of healthy oils incl omega 3+6 in the correct ratio and very little colesterol

OH and I have been eating far too many takeaways recently but I've chosen what I want to eat and put it on my plate so I've not had a piggy portion of crap, just a regular portion of crap and I've done some wii fit... So the scales have still been getting lighter.
Went through my log and despite having some fat days in July where I felt really quite heavy, it's a loss of 5 1/2 lb!:) I need to lose another 3 to hit my BMI of 25, so August may well be the month when I stop being overweight. Am quite excited at that thought, actually.0 -
Just got home, had a great time, was lovely to meet everyone, even allowed some pics to be taken
Def gotta lose some weight, altho this pic is ok the ones showing my belly and double chin are awful.
