Try the aldi crackers, sweet made 'mini pizzas' out of hers, they are lovely, i prefer them to the G&G ones, they're just too dry.
D'you know, in America they have off the shelf lc bread.. it's just not fair *stamps foot*

Morning all.
I am >:D:D:D:D today. I found an absolutely gorgeous huge place in the hills beside a river (the garden ends where the river starts and you just walk over the grass and paddle
). It's only 15 miles away from us and was available for the week I needed but was far too expensive, so I called the owner and haggled with him.
He took pity on me once he heard the situation and he's given me the place for the amount the insurance company will pay.
OH is working a full week that week so he wont get to enjoy it much. Shame.
So I now have 2 weeks booked albeit in seperate places, the 2nd one isn't as nice as the first but it's certainly ok nonetheless. We just need to find something to do with ourselves for 4 hours on changeover day but I'm sure we'll cope.
I'm so relieved, that's almost a week solid I've been searching.< to sweet. :rotfl:
So I now need to find something else to worry about.Maybe soon I can actually chat about relevant stuff like food etc. :rotfl:

changed my breaky from 250g of turkey breast to 3 oatibix covered in a protein shake
the turkey was costing me £20 a week ... and protein shakes on there own get absorbed far to fast, so im hoping the low GI oatibix will lengthen the absorption process of the protein
its going to take me to 150g of carbs a day from my avg of 120g, so we shall have to see if i still go into ketosis in the first 5 mins of cardio work0 -
Afternoon :hello:
I've been 'party outfit' shopping so am feelingand
after coming back empty-handed. I hate clothes shopping at the best of times but it's 10 times worse when it's for a special occasion. I'll have to find something though, so will be off out somewhere else tomorrow. Oh joy.
Hubby's dodgy appendix started rearing it's ugly head again at the weekend so he's feeling unwellHe was tossing & turning in bed last night, getting up because he thought he was going to be sick & just generally shifting around. So now I have eye bags the size of suitcases as I got hardly any sleep
I'm gonna look great at this sodding party aren't I!! :rotfl:
Hmmm, those Aldi crackers are a bit too moreish aren't theyI've just had my 4th with butter & cheese
Food for today:
B - 2 Aldi crackers with butter & cheese
L - 2 Aldi crackers with butter & cheeseegg mayo, garlic sausage
D - chicken something with veg
Sunny, well done on the lb off :j I seem to have stalled a bit this week.
alias, glad you found somewhere to stay, it sounds idyllic *sigh*
Eric, can you remind us what protein shakes you use please, someone was asking which one to go for.
Right, I'm off to wallow in a bit of self-pity, see you later peeps

I know how you feel, clothes shopping is not fun. Fingers crossed you get something tomorrow. Hubby sounds like he's having a pretty rubbish time of things too, hope it passes soon.
I think I may have been a tad too happy this morning, I've just driven out to this place to see where it was......it's literally in the middle of nowhere and I had to drive up and down some seriously stony & muddy tracks and over 2 small wooden bridges.I'm worried now. It's the kind of place you hunker down in and don't come out until your week is up.
There were rabbits everywhere (carb count anyone?
)
OH is on back shift which means he comes home around 2am, how he's going to get up there in the dark I have no idea. Neither him or I have a 4 x 4 (I have a wee Clio). It'll be fine for the rest of us, son will take his xbox, daughter will take a pal and I'll take vodka. :rotfl:We'll just shut ourselves in but he needs to drive that way twice a day so I can see him breaking an axle in a pothole and breaking my neck soon afterwards. :rotfl:
Oh and the worry made me eat hula hoops again.Herman - MP for all!0 -

i use my protein "impact whey" its very high quality and unlike most other protein supplements its not been filled with 100s of additives etc, although it looks expensive per g of protein its about the cheapest protein source you can get.

X < crossed fingers for the woe.
Worried about the holiday place. I'm now thinking 'Deliverance'.
There's another rental just down the road. This will be where the axe wielding murderers rent.I'm going to be on my own, at night, in the dark, up a hill, probably with no phone signal, with axe wielding murderers renting the next cottage.
I will just have to drink. :cool:Herman - MP for all!0 -
Actually i did think it would be rather creepy at night.
Ah well, the axe murderer will just have to come to terms with the fact that he has a bloody nutter as a neighbour
He'll just have to drink!0 -

Well your posts have cheered me up a bit. I fell off the wagon last night.. I was sooooooo tired, had noooooo energy.. just couldn't function. I'd been like that for a couple of days and decided I couldn't continue like that.. I was in ketosis too: testing strip went a very slight pink colour..
I had a slice of granary toast.. sure enough, didn't take long for me to start feeling a little better.. I think I was having too little carb (or too much protein..?) though ketosis should've been higher then..?
Today I've started with a slice of granary toast with Bertolli, a decaf coffee with the boys milk (full cream), and I intend to have a chicken salad for lunch and something similar for tea..
I'm also going to read some of the Kensington diet book: food combining: don't allow starchy/sugary foods to be in your tummy at same time as protein..
Feeling rather strange atm.. dunno if it's lack of caffeine, changes in diet or what..
Anyway, have a good day peeps0
